Actually, I am still getting off on it. Thanks, gottr. I thought I was the only one who did that. I actually embarassed myself in front of Omeed! We have all grown up with Magicthegathering style loopholes and we keep looking for them here and so far...
At first I was thinking Ant (gottr) had a near broken deck and that I was going to report it to you all after the PCQs... I will squeeze it out of him when I see him. You hear that Ant! I will publicly embarrass you! MWAHAHAHAHHA... Nah for serious just tell me. ^_^
That would be from Fushigi Yugi, a really neat anime that I suggest to everyone intrigued by the idea of defiling the priestess so they can't summon the oversized flaming peacock.
I'm listening to the soundtrack right now...darn catchy theme...Fushigi Yuuuuuuuuugiiiiiii....doo doo doo DOO.
By the way, 99 out of 100 dentists prefer Hotohori to that upstart Tamahome. 'S true.
FLCL is amazing. I'm a fan of Inuyasha as well, if nothing else for the rampant sexual frustration. :p
Back onto something relatively close to the origin of this thread . . .
I, too, would take FF against the 'Hood any day. If they don't get TNB out, it's an auto-win, as FF guys are naturally bigger. I'm even better off if they don't have a one-drop. Of course, my deck's still solid if they do get TNB going, just commenting on the good vs. bad draws again.
I love when people stick to the trendy Adult Swim anime's.... Try deviating from the norm, anime like Fushigi Yuugi doesnt belong on any Cartoon Network. Some things you just cant water down ^_^
Actually, without the Cartoon Network diluted version I would never have found the Fooly Cooly paradise. Are you saying there is other stuff that good? What are your criteria? That particular series is as bizarre as my own life, it is deeply profound, it is sublime in its storytelling and its "fill in the blanks" style, and it is perfectly drawn. (Not mentioning the music, my soundtrack is in the mail and I don't want to jinx the postman since I am praying it gets here before I drive from Miami to Knoxville. Shhh.)
So, Siege is voting FF. Any other predictions before our first proof this weekend?
I have this gut feeling someone's going to utilize Longshot as a huge card-drawing engine, especially since you don't name a version. Otherwise, I should get to work on that . . .
