where will the Vs. realmers be hanging out?

How will we recognize other realmers? Are there name tags or something? Personally, I'm not too keen on saying to every VS. player I meet, "Hey, I'm JoFo!" hoping that they know of me. :)

A big group photo does sound great, Typhon! Friday at 6:00 is good for me, I'll just be getting out of a seminar at that time (Origins of a Game). Hoping to meet lots of great people there... if I haven't already met them.

So, to you guys who are going with family/non-VSing friends. Are you having trouble deciding when you want to go off into small VS. tourneys and when to accomodate the people you came with?

Just like you said before, send them to the zoo and you go off to Origins.

Or since UDE will be running stuff all day and night in the Gaming Area, just leave them in the hotel with PayPerView and hit a late night VS draft (I'll probably be there).

You guys can find me at the Bandai booth... I'll be the biggest ugliest guy there and my nametag will say Erick... hehe. And yes... I'm still looking for helpers... mainly on Sat/Sun.

The late night idea is probably the one that I'll take. Now that I think about it, my nights are all free. Thanks for the reminder. Here's the family's basic plan for the four days.

Thursday: We all look around the convention center. Check out the exhibitors, look into interesting events that we hadn't noticede before, etc.

Friday: Our "going out" day, but we scrapped the zoo for the Center of Science and Industry... which, I won't skip out on because it actually sounds interesting (in the Space section you can experience different levels of gravity and drive a freakin' rover!). Hoping to be back at 4:00 for the aforementioned seminar, then the pictures at 6:00.

Saturday: Everyone has there own plans in the center. I'm in the $10K tourney, dad is playing a cribbage tourney and my mom and sister are going to see Sean Astin.

Sunday: We've gotta leave fairly early, can probably take a final walk around the center or do some quick events in the morning.

When I went to GenCon last year I wrote "CapNJay" on my convention pass underneath my name... made it easy for people I played/traded with to know who I was. It doesn't really work from a distance... maybe if we all made t-shirts and hats with our user IDs in big letters. Lol! ;)

I'm heading to Origins on Saturday. Sadly, I can only be there one of the four days...kind of sucks. But hey, at least it's the day of the big tourny, not to mention a bunch of smaller exciting ones. Good luck to everyone playing, as well as those of you working the event.
