I am really surprised I never saw many people exploit Book of Oa and Malvolio with Longshot. I tinkered with it a bit, and it was like clockwork. Now that we have ways to get him hidden to protect him even more, shoudl be a natural.

Hmmm... X-Men, Emerald Enemies... cover fires, solid Longshot draws... recovery effects... tasty.

The main problem back in the day was CS. Negating Longshot just wrecks the deck and shortly after Common Enemy made it's return which means many Reign of Terrors for all. It sounds amazing in theory but in a tournament scene with a TON of hate I just can't see it being all that viable.

But with a few copies of the Illuminati, and a few good turns with Longshot, you can set up a decent hand for a game in ANY deck.
