Jeebus... Carnage is a MONSTER... It does work, though.
I've got some more.
Robbing the Rich
Plot Twist Thresh:3
You may only play Robbing the Rich during your attack step unless the character you exhaust to play it is concealed.
As an additional cost to play Robbing the Rich, exhaust a character you control.
Look at target opponent's face-down resources. You may switch control of a face-down resource you control and target face-down resource an opponent controls if they have the same cost.
The art would be Black Cat robbing a museum.
Joining a Super-Team
Team-Up
Ongoing Plot Twist Cost: 2
Play only if you control a Spider-Friends character and a character with a different affiliation.
Choose two different team affiliations among characters you control.
Ongoing: Characters in your hand, deck, KO pile and in play under your control with either affiliation have both affiliations.
Characters in your hand with either of the team affiliations lose loyalty. If you only control characters with loyalty, each of those characters gets +1 ATK/ +1 DEF.
Toxin
Son of Carnage
Spider Friends/Sinister Syndicate
Cost 4
Flight: No
Range: No
Atk: 7
Def: 8
Evasion
Reservist
If Toxin is would be Ko'd as a cost to use a character ability or plot twist cost, instead remove Toxin from the game. At the start of the next draw phase, move him to your front row and put a +1Atk/+1Def counter on Toxin.
Activate, remove a card in your ko'd pile from the game--> gain 3 endurance.
Tablet of Time
Equipment
Cost 1
Equipped character can attack as though it has flight and range and has +4 Def.
When a character equipped with Table of Time becomes stunned, remove that character from the game and place Tablet of Time on target character you or your opponent(s) control.
Spider Man
Avenger
Spider Friends/Avengers
Cost: 2
Atk: 2
Def: 4
Evasion
Activate, pay 4 endurance--> Characters with evasion have invulnerability this turn.
Ko a character you control--> Characters with a recruit cost less than ko'd character have evasion and invulnerability this turn.
Toxin is the son of Carnage, who is the son of Venom...(I think this is correct, not exactly an expert.)
Toxin is also an alien symbiote. He (the man) tries to kill himself, but is unable to because of the alien symbiote he is hosting. Something about this incident is why he's a hero and not a villian. I've only read one issue, but that's the jist of it. I tried to reflect that in his card, and I think I did a pretty good job, but like I said, Toxin is not a character I am really well versed in.
This would be awesome in a Cops Gone Wild deck. He'd come in as an 8/7....maybe this should be a boost rather than normal text. He would become the largest 3 drop in the game.
Not the largest (3d Mammoth, Fearsome Five character from DC-OR) but easily the best I've seen. And lord knows SF needs a great 3 drop. If he had evasion, he'd be perfect. But let me make sure I've got the wording correct.
3 Toxin
Symbiote Number One Thousand
Spider-Friends 7/6
Flight: No Range: Yes
When Toxin comes into play, KO an Army character you control. If the KOed character had 'Officer' or 'Cop' in its name, put a +1 ATK/ +1 DEF counter on Toxin, then KO another Army character.
"I hate you, Daddy. I'm going to kill you!"
This way Toxin still kills a character, but in either case, if you don't control an Army character he doesn't eat a second person.
The Venom/Carnage 4-part was awesome. It was drawn by Clay Crain, the same person who is illustrating Marvel Knights Ghost Rider right now. Toxin is the spawn of Carnage, who (yes) is the spawn of Venom. Carnage hates the idea of asexually reproducing and wants to kill his offspring, while Venom wants to raise it in order to make it help him kill Spider-Man (surprise, surprise). Toxin ends up tied to Pat Mulligan, a cop who becomes a friend and ally of Spider-Man. It's a good story.
Toxin also recently had his own 6-part series where Pat and Toxin went toe-to-toe with Razor Fist, one of the villains who escaped from Ryker's in the prison break. Not as good as Venom/Carnage but it gives the symbiote more than a cheap story: it gives him continuity.
Damn, sorry for the length of that message. But yes, all Toxins should be made.
So my question would be, if you ko a 'cop' or an 'officer' and it says ko another one and it is also a 'cop' or an 'officer' does the process trigger again? Will there be another +1/+1 counter added?
Nah. It would be a Come-Into-Play effect. KOing another member of the force would not trigger the effect again, since the text only triggers it for the first KO.
