Too bad such a large portion of the world's hate is directed at getting laid, eh? Sex, the most natural and beautiful gift given to us by nature, is, apparently, evil, dirty, and should be suppressed at all costs. Violence? That's fine, show kids all the blood, gore and physical abuse you want. Psychological abuse? Sure, yelling and screaming and otherwise making people miserable is A-OK. Naked people? ARGGGHHH, my delicate sensibilities!!! KILL THE EVIL-DOERS! They are using their bodies in ways that make them feel good! Damn them all, if I can't enjoy sex, neither can they!
As for the bannings, I actually agree with the ARB ban. That card has been on my personal watch-list for a long, long time. As more sets come out, the potential abuse grows in leaps and bounds, since the card has no limit on the number of times it can be used each turn. Unless they want to pull a Dr. Light and make it once per turn only, which I would also have been ok with. But UDE has stated they want to keep errata to a minimum.
JLoA should probably have gotten the errata treatment. If it couldn't be flipped before the combat phase, that would be perfect. Not during combat, necessarily, just no shenanigans during any player's draw, build or recruit steps, since that is where the negative play experience arises. It should not be able to empty a player's hand before they've made their build and drops for the turn. Just being able to knock a player into top-deck mode is sufficiently powerful to warrant a deck built around it. Stone Raining your opponent is what pushes it too far.
Hmm. I suppose that means I would've preferred errata over banning. But I'm not strictly opposed to banning, and I will not get upset that UDE decided to nip these two abusive decks in the bud before they truly got out of hand. Multiple decks that either auto-win after turn 4 or that consistently draw through the deck on turn 3 are bad for the game.
I do agree with the sentiment of, "Move on." Nerfing these decks opens the field up further than it already is. This is a good thing.

Sling that poo, monkey. Sling it. You must be a hoot at a funeral.
And now we see who is the most responsible for hate on this forum.
Why don't you do everyone a favor and shut up? As I said before... just as much as you like to barn UDE, we have the right to express our opinions... whether you agree with them or not.
BTW: Although I don't totally agree with the banning of ARB... I'm not really opposed to it either. I can see why it was done... but I can also see why all the Dean Sohnles and David Frayers of the world are cursing the R&D gods out.

do yourself a favor and add stu to your ignore list like i have, he adds absolutely nothing to the game anyway, and all of his posts are filled with hate telling people not to be filled with hate, aren't hypocrits funny?
Originally posted by stubarnes You really think the world needs hate?
actually, yes.
i really do beleive the world needs hate. maybe not so much hate as people live with every day, but no hate at all would be a bad thing.
all emotions are motivators and aren't, themselves, good or bad... it's what we do with them that good or bad.
where love motivates us to protect and foster the things that bring us happiness, hatred motivates us to remove the negative things in our environment.
i wasn't barning. i was just pointing out the fact that both sides had valid arguments and the debate was inherently flawed since once side does not have access to all the pertinent evidence/information.
KY!KY!KY!
yeah, i don't like that ARB was banned.
yeah, i wish they would ban/nerf the fatifacts.
those are my opinions based on limited information.

Wow dude you didn't need to give my statement the Freud treatment. :p The world has too much hate, have fun enjoy life, and move past the bans already.
Originally posted by marksonedu don't mind korinthe he's just angry by nature (probably due to a lack of sex as his statement highlights).
Heh, goes to show what you know. I've got a five month old and a three year old, and have been very happily with the same woman for over 10 years. And the sex, btw, is absolutely fantastic. But that is neither here nor there.
You thought that was an angry post? Huh. It's not, I assure you. I was more pointing out the irony of DK's statement, saying that we need less hate and more sex, when SO much hate is in fact directed towards sex.

Nah, she's a super-quiet baby who has slept through the night for most of these 5 months. She doesn't even stay latched on most of the night like the older girl did. Yay us! She's a really determined little scrapper, though. She's only 5 months old and is crawling and sitting up. :o
Personally, I didn't understand why JLoA was made as a Plot Twist as opposed to a Location, especially with all the support AI has recently received for it lately.
