Mine is a conviluted history.

In 6th grade my friend could never pronounce my last name (Guglielmelli). So he shortened it one day to Guglio and it stuck all the way to present day (5 years running). Every forum or site I join, I always pick Guglio.

More interesting is my e-mail address. Neron, one of DC's devil's was a cool character, so I tried to get it as a hotmail address. Someone had obviously beat me to it. So I added his Overpower stats ... 5268.

Matt is the short/popular version of my name. 'Icy' was added because I always seemed to enjoy the element of water/ice (mainly from RPGs like Chrono Trigger and Pokemon). It first popped up when I created my first Hotmail account back in 2001. I use it on almost every message board I post at, with very few alternatives (among them 'IcymasterMatt', 'Matt the Hoople', and my super-secret joke identities of TimCurry and King_Kuranes).
