I saw this and I just couldn't resist. This sounds like a certain place, on Tuesday, at around 6 p.m. Anybody remember the verbal IOU's they gave out for like 2 weeks???

I don't want you guys to get the wrong idea about how much I love neutral ground. I enjoyed (albeit when I had time and could attend, ahh, the married life) hobby league there and the crazy ### arguments and sh*t. But "keeping it real", the workers were dicks most times, they overcharged for everything and they ran a sloppy, disorganized ship. Not surprised to see it crash and after the shock I had initially, becoming increasingly more indifferent.

really?? i didnt see that in the site. ill definately know by tomorrow. question to everyone .. is this place close enough for everyone to attend??from neutral ground its a 20 min train ride and once you get out the train im told by a buddie of mine that its about a block or two away from the train.

i just called the place (althought there are closed right now ) i did get their answer machine so the store is still open.

i wanna draft too.. i'll try my best . i did try to set something up last friday for draft but everyone seem to have a money issue... so my fingers are crossed for drafting on tuesday

It's reasonably close to the train, you take the A,C or F lines to Jay St. and walk 4 blocks (brooklyn, short blocks) to the corner of Jay and Atlantic.

You can also take the N,R, 4, 5 or 6 to Court st and do that long arse walk down Court to Atlantic and then to Jay.

Let's find out the condition of the place before we start making plans, if anybody needs directions I can tell you how to get their from any train line.

i think the conditions are fine and tuesdays and fridays (our normal vs days) are free on their hobby league events. so setting up there shouldnt be a problem especially some of my friends are regulars there. so i may have some pull

alright, so do you all want to schedule the tuesday, the 29th as the first day we have a hobby league there? we can make it an event, i'll pay for pizza from the dominos down the block. Someone else brings the drinks and someone else brings the cups.

It will actually be funny if this works out, as this is literally like 10 mins away from my house and 5 mins away from my gym. You guys may actually see me at hobby league on a regular again......:surprised
