My main bass has EMG Quarter Pounder pickups. Les is one of those players that I love to listen to, but I have no desire to play like he does.

How are things going with opening back up safely in your neck of the woods. How many of you have been vaccinated?

My band booked a gig for the 1st weekend in April, and I have yet to be vaccinated. However, things are going pretty steadily here, so it may not be so bad.

I have not been vaccinated yet, even though I've been considered "essential", since, the get go. My wifey gets her 2nd vaccination shot on Saturday.

I got my first dose and the next dose will come the 1st week in April. I have no idea what businesses are open on the inside and to what capacity. I don't trust going out to eat like that yet.

I am still virtual teaching so no complaints there except that no matter what this was not the best year for students to learn. Too much stuff happening.

I got my 2nd Moderna last week, and other than some weird, short-lived burning sensation in my arm for a few hours, and being more tired than usual for the first 2 days, I've felt great.

As far as opening up around here, things are ok. Restaurants have been opened up to 50% capacity for a week or two, and were at 25% for the previous couple months. Typical for most places, there are plenty of establishments that haven't followed any of the guidelines, but most seem to be. Our favorite Chinese place still isn't open in person at all. Just carry-out.

Cannot wait for the wife and I to get the vaccine.

One of our grades in our school district just had to go into quarantine starting today due to a student testing positive. It's a strange time, what with continually increasing numbers of vaccinated folks, but also so many places throwing restrictions or even common sense out the window, like it was an already conquered problem. Michigan is kind of a conflicted mess overall, but all my immediate family and my wife's immediate family have been healthy, and all the adults have gotten full battery of vaccines.

We've even gone to the movies again, at like 25% capacity they can still have a decent crowd. It felt great!

Performing in an indoor venue would be just like going to a sports event inside a smaller sized gym or something though. With alcohol and #######ry added to the mix. I'd be real leery of some knucklehead(s) spreading the Rona to the whole place while they're proudly not wearing a mask or taking anyone else serious.

I don't remember the last time I ate at a favorite Chinese food restaurant. Probably when we went out for Dim Sum. Other than that when it comes to meals/dishes it has always been carry out even before the pandemic.

I have been trying to expand my Chinese cooking and been going buck wild with Dan Dan Noodles. The family loves it, I am the only one who eats it spicy.

I am craving generic Mexican Restaraunt #B food. No particular restaurant, but the not a chain but every restaurant is the same kind of place. Tried takeout, an 8 minute drive is not good for this type of food.

When I went in for takeout at the 2 closest places, they were at close to full capacity, one with a live singer. This was months ago when things were at their worst, can't imagine it has gotten any better.

Are your Mexican restaurants numbered there? Over here our Pho places are numbered. BTW the best Pho places have a number next to them.

got it. It's not a cooking video, it's some guy trying a bunch of different places. However, I get a lot of ideas on how to make Dan Dan noodles from them.

Chose 2 boosters off the shelf today from FFFF...one of the boosters had Doom the Annihilating Conqueror, and the other booster had The High Evolutionary Super Rare Prime!

It was about the best luck I've had since the first loose booster of Black Panther Avengers I picked up had Ultra Chase Thanos in it.
