I'm not a huge Godzilla fan, but recently saw Godzilla Minus One and am currently in the middle of Godzilla X Kong.

Minus One is unlike any Godzilla movie that I have seen. Most of the early part is about the people trying to recover from Hiroshima. It is people driven and captivating. When Godzilla finally shows up, they drag out a Shinden canard wing pusher prop fighter plane (one of my favorite late war planes) and the CGI is really good. I actually loved it and recommend it even to non-fans.

Godzilla X Kong so far seems more like a traditional movie, but the effects seem really good. Part of the soundtrack is:

Heard a band for the first time ever on Jimmy Kimmel last night. The music is good, but I really like the singer's voice. Hope to hear more from them.

Heard this on my public radio show I listen to on Friday mornings. It's a cover of a 1920s tune but I got a kick out of it. I'll have to listen to the original soon.

Years ago, Tiny Tim appeared on Laugh In and blew us away with his weirdness. Leon Redbone showed up in the 70s and made his weirdness cool.

Gnome’s song did pretty well in the World Tour. I like this one even better, and am going to explore their music further.

Coincidentally, Band-Maid and The Warning released a new collaboration today, a song called Show Them. I had seen a fan video of the two bands doing this song together and the quality was low. But the new video is great, not over-produced, a little raw, and really shows the talent of both bands. It appears Kanami is using her new Private Stock PRS.
