hmmm...Justice Is Served! looks like he's the next IC Elektra. He might even be better!

I'm happy with the sculpts, but I'm just not getting any characters I care about. As soon as they start up with the Ultimate X-Men (Storm and Jean) or show me a new Rogue I'll be pumped.

Scouge looks cool but I never read his storyline, it sounds like such neat concept

I'm so glad that everyone is happy with the Scourge LE, but we're forgetting about the pattern that Wizkids set up for them. The whole series have been standouts or alter egos of the R/E/V from the main series. Now they're going to use catch phrases? What's next Wolverine "Bub" "The Best"? The scupt looks great an all but ?what? are they doing?

Anyway so much for research. I think if I was at Wizkids I'd do some research and find better names for the LE's.

Alright, I am majorly upset by Electro's treatment.

First of all, I was afraid they'd do that. They went with the stupid Ultimates version. [sarcasim]Nice costume there. Looks way better than the traditional.[/sarcasim] Come on! He looks like an Indy reject. I hated the redo of Electro in the first place. (Even personality-wise he turned out worse. Electro may have only been a two-dimensional villain for Spider-Man before, but Ultimates somehow managed to shave him down to being one-dimensional.)

And to top it off, he dial stinks to high heaven! What's he got, 8 attack with Incap? Energy Shield? Only one click of Running Shot? Add to that an 8 Range (Which isn't a "good" range anymore) and no TA. FOR 54 POINTS?!?! Useless piece of garbage.

Bad sculpt or bad dial I can live with. But both?!?! The one Marvel character I was really looking forward to and they screw him up hard core. Put down the pipe, WizKids.

Wait if Mysterio and Electro are both in this set as prizes... does that mean we'll see a REV set of them in the new set.... I'd love to see a couple new sinister sindicate members.

I disagree - I think he has some pretty good powers. This is the LE - so the REV will probably be pretty different. I'm guessing no Running Shot and higher damage - maybe RCE.

But an 8 attack isn't so bad - just shy of average. 8 range is still good - no idea what games you've been playing. In fact there are a lot of range 6's lately making an 8 really good. Plus it keeps you out of Charge range which is always a plus.

The LE teams up Running Shot with that 8 range giving him an effective range of 11 - which is fantastic.

And Incapacitate makes him really special. 11 range Inc makes him a threat to all those low defense Impervious / Invulnerable figs like Black Adam, Absorbing Man, Supergirl, Rhino, etc which all he needs is a 6 or 7 to hit.

1 damage isn't great - more of a mild shock than electrocution - but a 4 range Pulse-Wave is decent.

And he's built for ranged combat so he's got a 16 defense to start - very average.

I think he could be pretty good. And if he is the Jesse Chambers to his REV - he could be one of the great figs of the set.

I'm really hoping that the REV Mysterio is Topdial Stealth, Smoke Cloud, Willpower, Perplex

and then turning into Mindcontrol, Poison, Willpower, Outwit.

Finish off wih Stealth or Phasing, to show his get-away. Throw on some Mastermind (maybe instead of Second click Willpower) and you would have the makings of a pretty killer character. I just hope he has a little higher attack to make him worthwhile.

Other than that, these LEs blow. If they're based off the REV versions, then they're gonna blow as well. The only exception is the LE Wolverine. Other than that, these are a waste of plastic. And no, I'm more of a Marvel fan than a DC. What is funny is that all these people bashing Unleashed and defending Ultimates were pointing at the low attack and low defenses of DC. Well guess what, if these are any indication, these guys are gonna be the same. An 8 AV with 14 defense? Ok Justice is Served is an 11, but still a 14 and short dial. Sorry, but overall Unleashed LEs smoke these guys. Yet another LE set of Marvel that blew...

VERY disappointed in Ultimates so far.

Yeah, The Scourge was the way Marvel clean up it's universe in the late 80's insted of going the DC route and resetting time or killing dimensions every few years, The Scourge would wander around and off the c-list baddies like Bluestreak, Basilisk, and my personal fave, Turner D. Century. he was an interesting way to take out the trash.

Jonny Ell - Gene Nation? Blech. I'll never play the Morlock ability anyway.

Wade Cole - grr... how long am I gonna have to wait for Reese and Macon?

Scourge - Outstanding sculpt, my favorite so far. I suspect the R/E/V will have RCE instead, and some Shapechange to show his proficiency with costumes.

Howlett - Wolverine with Impervious? What did I sleep through? Keep it.

Mysterio - I expect a full dial of Stealth and Smoke Cloud on the R/E/V, we never see him until the last page anyway! On defense, I'd suggest Super Senses, cuz you never know if you're attacking the real guy. Perplex is more appropriate than Mind Control in my opinion. No problem, it's a different interpretation, which is what LE's are supposed to be anyway. As far as poison goes, his smoke melts Spidey's webbing, which was probably the inspiration, but it's definitely not poisonous...

Electro - A slap in the face to Steve Ditko...what was the harm of putting him in the green and yellow with a big, jagged lightning bolt flying out of his hand??? The R/E/V will probably have 7/8/9 as their attack values. No flying cuz he doesn't carry, fine. Poison would work much better here than on Mysterio... Electro is much deadlier in close combat. Syndicate TA is a must.

Why are people worried that Mysterio won't be on the Sinister Syndicate? It's not an Ultimate version, and he actually was on the SS in the comics right? Or at least, the Sin6, which, I assume was the forerunner. Besides, like someone said, they gave Ult. Doc Ock the SS TA, why not a normal universe character? (and don't anybody mention Scorpion! )

the le james howlett is so many times better point wise than vet wollvie it's crazy, sooo delicious muahahaha. I was going to cancel my order for my 2 cases of ultimates but these new guys shown have me too excited plus a new magneto and thor??!!! as long as they rock i'm still in, here's praying no telekenisis for magneto.

That's because he was never a member. This is a misconception probably brought on by the video game that has him as a member.

Nontheless, it appears that Spidey villains get bottom of the rung treatment. With the exception of Green Goblin, Boomerang, and Venom..the rest have really been disappointing.
