Shoot - I just realized I made this plan thinking that the HtH Ninja still did 2 damage, so I thought I'd KO Spidey before I went after Black Cat. Oh, well. At least I kept him at the 13 DV slick. Just going to require a little risk next turn...

Taskmaster watched Boomerang fall to the hero's assualt. Regrettable, he thought.

"Shen, Taki - now."

Yelling to channel his ki, Taki lashed out with his foot and caught the web-slinger in the stomach. "Oof!" breathed Spiderman, winded by the strike.

Knowing he needed to use a surprise tactic to defeat the woman, Shen chose to forego his shuriken and instead flung his nunchaku at Black Cat. Whipping through the air, the weapon struck her head with a sick thud, dropping her to the ground.

"BC!" cried Spiderman. "Alright, that's it - I've got a friend, and I believe he would definitely say that this is clobberin' time!"

Taskmaster drew next to the wallcrawler. "You're welcome to try, Spiderman. I've watched you for years, and it's come down to this."

"Y'know, Tasky - that whole watching thing? That's kinda creepy," cracked Spiderman, readying himself for the mercenary's next tactic.

Whoops, guess we're posting at the same time. Spidey clears, eh?

Phew. Good game. Another reasonably close one, though I just couldn't overcome that Stealth/Mastermind combo on Taskmaster. That was well played.

Yeah, I read the recent LE review of Rupert, which highlighted the Stealth/MM combo, and thought I'd try it out myself.
