I did a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away (like over 15 years ago) I dont remember much except that it was a story of kids on an island or something like that. I believe they also made a movie of it as well. Oh yeah... and that it has allegories ;-)

Granted, but your powers discust everyone you are around, and you find out there is a place in the local freak show for someone who farts visible gas.

I wish i had a restaurant complex in my bedroom, that was free.

Granted. The resaurant however has the lowest sanitation rating ever recorded and you get really sick everytime you eat their food. Now you cannot even think about food or you throw up. You die of starvation.

I wish I had a gadget in my car to automatically trigger stop lights to turn green for me to allow me to continue as I approach an intersection.

Granted. But however the gadget doesn't change the other side of the intersection to red. You die in a t-bone collison.

Unfortunately, the number bajillion doesn't exist. It is now a term for -10,000,000. You lose Ten million dollars.

Granted. AFI no longer sucks. However, since I don't know what the hell AFI is, I just assumed you meant American Feces Incubation.......which no longer sucks, btw. It's quite popular now, in fact.

Granted. You moved on in life and became president of the United States of America. Then you were so happy you threw a wild party and got very wasted. In fact, you were so drunk that you passed a law stating "All presidents of the United States of America must be killed". Then everyone charged up to the White House and killed you.
