Notice the flaws? Nobody aimed for the Medic (only Krakoa did her in). No one outwitted Metron's Carry ability (no carry, no escape for KZ). That first team with GSX Storm was weird. No beatstick. Too many soft targets. 2nd team used prison map?? With only NC as move and attack? T-bolts could have won but Venom over Osborn was just a bad build decision IMHO.

You know, until someone tries playing against the team build, at this point everything is theoretical.

I'm not trying to belittle our ability to find weaknesses in our opponent's team. It's just that luck plays a big factor in the game. Sometimes you do well, sometimes you don't. For all we know the "Met-run" team was connecting when he needed to hit or that his opponents kept on making critical errors. There are just too many factors that can affect the game. Proper team building helps, but as we can see in the new Meta, several people were expecting HSS to be a major factor. You can't always build against certain teams, short of being a precog.

I say congratulate the guy and just be happy for his victory.

I also like that there aren't any SR Secret Warriors. Makes it easier to complete the sub theme (compared to the Warriors Three, Agents of Atlas, and Nextwave).
