Ugh. In training this week for a new Secretary of State system (hopefully only until Wednesday) that may or may not happen this year (all signs point to next year). Our trainer is an older woman who isn't all that comfortable with technology for the most part. Adding in that the test environment they have provided has more bugs than Roger Ebert does right now (too soon? ), it makes for a fun time. Struggling to stay awake. Here's hoping my iced tea can help out! Oh and they failed to notify me that my start time for the training was pushed up a half hour so I forced them to wait until I got in this morning! WHOOPSIE!

This seems to be what happens to me every time I take on a household project. I tell my wife it will take 30 minutes or an hour. Then I'll get started and there's something else wrong and the whole thing becomes an hours long project.

Tried to order a MS Gold membership that a place had for half price with free shipping, except to here and Hawaii. They wanted 30 extra bucks to ship it. It is basically a gift card in size so really wouldn't warrant 30 dollars shipping. Hell they could have just scratched it off and just e-mailed me the code and it would cost maybe 1 cent? -_-;

Day two of training. Apparently the amount of sleep I got the night before has nothing to do with my sleepiness in class.

Heh. This is funny because I had a conversation with my boss last week about being unhappy with my increase this year. Listed the reasons and was told I'd hear back. From that point on the boss hadn't said "hi" to me until today. That's a good sign, right?
