Ahhh yes, the wonderful Con Your Store promotion. So glad I said "no way" to that. In my entire state I think there were 3 participating venues. That can't be very good in a state that has a few of the former champs and lots of stores that had more players than mine did even when we were at 20-30 folks.

That broken Ganthet I mentioned earlier? It has a peg and slot that actually fits the 2 pieces together perfectly. Not sure if it comes that way, or if it just broke very cleanly in the perfect spot or what, but I am happier now.

I played in a GotG sealed last night.

Raptor carried the Rigellian Colonizer down one side while MV and Thane slowplayed down the other. Across all 3 games I managed to get 6 damage from the Rigellian Colonizer's Trait.


I managed to one shot a token'd Iron Man with Thane and it was a good thing because Yondu is insane. THAT GUY's team. He managed to KO Raptor and Rigellian Colonizer with Yondu. There were 2 other grunts that went down faster than Bud at a biker rally as well.


I also beat a Collector/something team and a Thanos/Corvus Glaive team.

Against Corvus Glaive, I whacked him with Thane, then KOd with MV and next turn healed MV with Thane.

The local venue that is running a CiYS got conned. The Kit is missing about 1/3 the promised stuff.

The only venue around me that didn't get conned is the one that chose not to run it...

Mel Storm must be packing things up and getting less computer access (happened every time we were clearing out for our replacements on the right seat/left seat ride phase), or else he wised up and headed for smarter folks to talk with.

Smudge/Phantalien/Harpua/Spike/Haven/Trader, etc are damn near non-existent on here lately! They better get back in time for the Secret Satan event.
