I wish I could find the clip of the SNL sketch where the hypnotist was way better than cats.
I like the snl bit from the 90's where james vanderbeek was the host, and they did a cats: behind the scenes thing and vanderbeek played a guy who was way too into being in the show etc...
Well the bank won't give me credit because i'm a bad risk and I don't pay my bills on time. So I have to work for what I have!
Well, we may have to take the kitten back. My 1 1/2 year old cat is not getting along with her.
If the older one is in straight-up kill mode, the safety of the smaller one is a concern. But if it's not quite that bad, they probably just need more time.
Growing up as a kid in the 80's I can tell you that people considered Cats to be the shiznit...the ultimate musical.
I never saw it.
Recently I saw it was going to be on PBS, so we decided to watch it.
Ugh, talk about absolute garbage.
The only thing I can figure is that it was basically the first one to do what it does with the elaborate costuming and such. I could make a list of everything bad with it, but I'm too lazy.

Yeah, like others on here have said, I agree. I saw it televised a few years ago and was wondering what the big deal was. So much so that I asked a theatre snob buddy of mine if what was on TV was some sort of pale shell of the real deal, and he said "nope, that was pretty much what you see in person".

It's stupid Andrew Lloyd Weber mania. I don't like any of his work after Jesus Christ Superstar.
When my other half and I were first dating, she wanted my opinion of the guy her sister liked. I met him at a party at her house and the guy gave off an arrogant hipster vibe. So my friends and I had nicknamed him "The Magical Mr. Mistoffelee" as we'd never met a cat who thought he was as clever.
14 years later, her sister and Magical Mr. Mistoffelee are married, have two kids. I deal with Magical Mr. Mistoffelee regularly.

Is Mr. Mistoffelee a character from the musical cats?
