At my local store, they're spraying your hands with disenfectant when you enter, they have pre-disinfected the shopping carts, they are limiting almost everything to 2 per person, the first hour of shopping is for seniors, and they're still out of things like toilet paper, disenfectant, isopropyl alcohol, etc.
I'm all behind the store hours for seniors and people at risk. I totally think that is appropriate.
The sanitized carts are a good idea but I would have a problem with being sprayed. I went into a Target bathroom in the last week fully intending to wash my hands when someone started up the electric hand dryer I nearly RAN out. I think those things should be disabled like the bulk candy dispensers have been.
The limits on products is understandable but the product of people being stupid and selfish and panicky.
Re: the person who had the virus-- a spouse of a friend--
Having gotten more details, the kids (two) got it first, then the husband (who I don't know well) and then the wife (who I do). They are all on teh tail end of this now.
One common symptom is a loss of sense of smell. At the tail end, my friend says she can barely smell an open bottle of vinegar.
Also worth noting is that the kids got this first half of March from somewhere, and all four of these cases (and probably a whole lot more) aren't reported in any numbers. None of them were able to get tested even though they had all the standard symptoms.
The lack of testing (and thus response) really led to this blowing up quickly. If this was happening in one small town in Indiana, I imagine it's happening all over the place.

Wow, I enjoyed both these movies for the goofy, matinee at the Bijou kinda serial quality they had. I think Phantom was more fun...Shadow was the better movie. Alec Baldwin is a total douchenozzle, but I'd still see another one.
The Rocketeer is one of my favorite comic book movies ever. And Jennifer Connelly at that time. Hell, her for about a 20 year period. oh.my.god. I probably made love to her about 80 times, she just was never there to enjoy it.

Agreement on Baldwin. I just don't like the guy. I don't like him as a person from all reports, and I, generally, don't like the characters he plays.
I don't know if that is why I don't like The Phantom as much as Rocketeer.
NEW RELATED TOPIC THAT I THINK WE'VE COVERED
I really dislike Tom Cruise. I don't like him as a person and I don't like him on screen, yet I own and rewatch several movies with him
The same goes for Jeff Goldblum, but he may be a decent person, I don't have enough information.

Is there anyone like this for any of you?
Agreed on Tom Cruise, but Top Gun is a classic.
Your post brings up an interesting topic, re-watching things
My wife and I rarely re-watch movies or TV shows, but here is a list of movies that I can re-watch in no particular order
Star Wars - Any of them really, but Rogue One and ESP especially.
Top Gun
Red Dawn
Gladiator
Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Shawshank Redemption
Clue
Caddyshack
Captain America - The Winter Soldier
I rewatch far far less than I used to. These days, a lot of it is rewatching things to introduce the kids to something. Most recent example, Fantasia. Hunt for Red October happened not too long ago, too. And the kids will want to rewatch as well, so I will often do that.
I don't rewatch MCU movies much. Did a lot in the run-up to IW to get the kids up to speed. That sorta burnt me out for a while. Since then I have rewatched Black Panther and Winter Soldier, which to me are head and shoulders above the rest.
My weirdest rewatch movie in the last couple of years is Hail, Ceasar. often when I am looking for samething to put on that I've already seen, I'll choose it. It got a very lukewarm reception, but like Lebowski I think it becomes more experience than movie over time. And I really like that experience.
Re: Jeff Goldblum, irl he's supposedly something of a womanizing #######. I can watch him in anything though. Recently saw Jurassic Park with the kids (a movie which doesn't really move me) and he's fun in that.
