I haven't watched Rick and Morty, and based on what I've seen of the average of the fanbase, I never plan to. They can be straight up rabid! There is no way any show is worth going that insane!
That is not a sound philosophy. It is kind of like saying a person doesn't want to read comic books, play board games/D&D, play video games, and etc. because all the fanboys are fat slobs living in their mother's basement.
Rick and Morty is a fun show for ADULTS and worth a try. The first season is the hardest one to get through because they were trying too hard to be very vulgar with no real direction yet. Kind of like the first seasons of South Park.

Also I watch a lot of cartoon-based YouTube videos, so I've got the jist of several main episodes already.
I was kinda in the same boat as you. It was one of those things where I saw some highlights now and then, and heard people talk about it, but it is so overly popular I didn't want anything to do with it. My daughter insisted that I give it a chance, so I did. I regret not watching it sooner. The writing is really, really good.
Holy mother of Ofin, I'm gone for like 5 days and you lowlifes only post like 5 times?!?!
Disappointment is strong. I was hoping I could swoop in and post a bunch the next few days while I am home with some time and pull out a last minute victory, but noooooo.
I did binge watch all 8 episodes of Stranger Things 3 over the 4th-6th, and I found it enjoyable, though not as totally tubular as I'd hoped.
If any of you have watched, I'm all about discussing, but if you haven't yet and plan to do so in the future, I won't spoil anything on here. This thread's pretty spoiled in here anyway!
I swear you have been lurking for years. So glad you decided to post.
There is a fine line between psychic and psychotic.
Aside from Heroclix, I'm a life long wrasslin fan, not sports entertainment! Live for the first time in the good ole U.S. of A. (Dallas, TX), I enjoyed the NJPW G1 Climax 29 day 1, matches on AXS tv, Saturday night. Below is highlights of the match that stole the show, IMHO.
Back in the early '90s, in my early Army and college days, I was in a wargaming group that was an actual military game wargaming a Soviet/NATO Fulda Gap scenario. Took us a good 10 weeks with 1 or 2 classes a week to resolve the campaign. I was on the Soviet team and we lost, but put up a good fight.
