Magneto used the adamantium in Wolverine's skeleton to send him flying across the hangar. Wolverine popped his claws and held them out in front of him, making himself a human spear. To his surprise, he bounced off of Superman's hide, but he had the satisfaction of seeing that he had managed to hurt the Man of Steel in the process with his claws. "Yer pretty tough, aintcha?" Wolverine asked.

"I've been called that," Superman said.

"I'll teach you a little respect," Captain Mako told Harley, biting into her shoulder. She screamed in pain.

"Hey you! Quit that!" the Joker said, using his power to separate the two villains.

"Mr. J, you saved meee," Harley said blissfully, before she fainted from blood loss and shock.

"Only to stop that infernal screeching you were doing," the Joker said, though she was beyond hearing.
