I personally wish Wizkids were the ones spoiling the set lists so that the Realmsers don't have to
Yup, I agree, plus why hasn't anybody at least had the ballz to call him out about the poor photography, i.e., we appreciate the post (debatable as it is WAY past my bedtime & said posting is keeping me up) but as we've all commented: you left out an entire row!

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, and I'm happy for anybody that just got super-psyched by this poster, but I am severely disappointed after seeing this. There are just way too many remakes:
Granted, some of them haven't been made in a while and probably need the update (Blob, Pyro, Mystique, Juggernaut, Magneto), but all the ones with the asterisk already have Modern Age versions, for cryin' out loud, and we could've used figures that had never been clicked before instead of new versions of Hellfire Guard and Skullbuster. I mean, they didn't even round out Nextwave with Dirk Anger.
Also, I may be wrong, but this seems to be the most gung-ho WK has been with theme. If you don't like mutants (I myself like some and dislike others), you might as well skip this set completely. I hope this is not a sign for future sets, Marvel or DC.
It looks like I will only be buying boosters for sealed and trading for Nextwave figs/the odd fig with an interesting dial. It bums me out, because I had high hopes for this set...

This list makes me so happy. I almost cried and pulled my little brother out of bed to give him a fifteen minute freak out on everyone. He loves the Phoenix sculpt and Archangel. I'm going to print this and suck a coworker into buying product (he's diehard X-Men and I recently got him to buy a booster).
WizNECA! You guys are amazing! I'm so glad I preordered as much as I did and that we are going to have a truely amazing set of gaming here. These sculpts are beautiful and I just won't be able to sing your praises enough for the next two months.
Kinseeker1 --- you've found a kindred spirit in me! Thank you so much.
Cyclops*
Wolverine*
Beast*
Emma Frost*
Professor X*
Iceman*
Storm*
Archangel*

true, but to be fair, you can't have an x-men set without some iconic x-men characters like these. there are many notable ones they left out (jean grey, colossus, gambit)
it is also still possible that mutations & monsters gets retired around the time GSX comes out, so that would mean there wouldn't be modern age versions of any of those characters (except wolverine of course)

I agree Groovy, I suppose I blame NECA's obsession w/Traits as said remakes of pieces already in Modern Age. If this does not end up being the case, not sure what to tell you ...

I'll give you Emma, Beast, Iceman, and Prof. X, but the rest were sorely needed. As far as Wolverine goes, the WoS one (while interesting and useful in its own way) plays like Wolverine about as much as Savage Hulk plays like Batman. Plus, an X-Men-themed set without a Wolverine would've been a travesty. A current-era Cyclops hasn't been seen since the beginning set(s) of the game, and the same can be said for Sabertooth, Mystique, Blob, Rogue, Psylocke, and Pyro.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Really??? They left her out wow I sure thought she was ther eat number 47 lol
And Gambit and Colossus arent out either
Colossus is in as a duo and Gambit well he is on the Booster and we have yet to have a figure on a Booster not available in said set (even if they were chase figures)

A remake of Storm was sorely needed? She is currently 100 points of ###-kicking SPs. And I believe I made an exception for Blob, Pyro, Mystique, and Sabretooth in the part you didn't quote. Overall, still too many slots wasted on retreads...
