Yeah, I've had the same thought too. For me personally, you are 100% correct. Yet, when I have to explain it to others including my wife, a variation of the saying on the t-shirt is typically what I go with. Based on that, I am perfectly fine with the way it is.
It's interesting. I would try to avoid saying it was like chess but it is a go to description. Though if someone had never played chess before but played heroclix I wouldn't tell them chess is like heroclix.
Within seconds, the dreaded Vikes could draft Daquan Bowers who shouldn't be on the board still
Edit: WTF. Nevermind. Bowers can keep falling. The Giants are waiting.
Grabs bubble over Suga's head, takes out hatpin
Now hold still...this will only hurt for a moment.
The Giants are more likely to go for an 0-lineman --- more specifically, a center.
(POP!)
There'll be no more "dreaded Vikes" talk out of you tonight, bub.
BTW, I like "our" pick of Rudolph, the TE out of Notre Dame. It's clear that with a new head coach and new offensive coordinator, they're gonna do things their way.

What about Shiancoe? I'm actually thinking the Giants may go for the RB from Illinois who's name escapes me at the moment. I know that after last year, a lot of people in NY are not impressed with either Jacobs or Bradshaw and their lack of hands.

Shiancoe was tweeting a lot yesterday and earlier today. I'm waiting to see what he thinks of Rudolph. Looks good for the west coast offense. Ponder looks like he's coming into a good situation. Harvin, Rice, Shiancoe, Rudolph, Peterson. Now, if the O line can just block....
