Is it correct to wish people a "Happy" Pearl Harbor Day? It probably wasn't a happy day for most of the Veterans. How do you commemorate it to someone, yet do it correctly?
I realize, understand, and appreciate that it is Pearl Harbor Day and I fully understand what happened on this day, but to Jeremiah and I it will always be our Mom's birthday first and Pearl Harbor Day second.

So you guys saw that Hulkmariner is the (possibly) last chase? This is the first time that there were Chases that I really don't care about. You all know I love the idea of chases and having to get lucky (or spend a lot) to get them, but these chases are so redundant (on the dial). At least they'll be cheaper chases for those who have to get them.
This is correct. Hollywood is indeed the future version of Wonder Man and is a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy in the future. I've only ever seen him in one storyline, but I don't own all of the Original/future GOTG comics, so he could have shown up there.

No, haven't seen that. Why waste the chase slot on him? What's he going to get? Charge, Super Strength, and Impervious? His normal figure would already have those powers. We'd be better off with Hulked out versions of Spidey, Deadpool, or Invisible Woman...

Well, mostly because he looks really cool as far as I can tell. His trait is kind of fun. Invisible Woman would have been WAY cooler though.

If the person on the receiving end is a veteran, my guess is that nothing beats a "thank you."

Holy Crow...there's a SKRULL Black Bolt??????
Aw, geez, Louise, and here I'd thought there was nothing to drive me nuts in the Hulk set....
Uh, you are talking about the Hulk set, eh...?

That would be me. At this point, only two of the Hulk chases really appeal to me and now I'm wanting the HulkMariner even more than Thorr.

Tim Burton was right: "A square jaw does not a Batman make." Steve Buscemi as the next Batman! Luke Perry as Joker! Let's make it happen!
Just found out Harry Morgan of Dragnet and M.A.S.H. fame has passed away. He was 96.
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Universal Monsters, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.
It's interesting that they are going to finally make the Watcher. There's been a lot of debate about whether he deserved to be made over the years. A lot of people thought he should just be an event dial, but I'd rather have him as he is probably being done.
That would be me, RE --- for two reasons: That's The Watcher as I knew him (having no clue what they've done with him post-Kirby) but even more important, I think he's just the right character to lend himself to an event dial that folks would WANT and PLAY.
Thus, I could see him as being a savior of sorts for the whole notion of making event dials viable.
But that's just me.

So like Frankie, Simon goes to Hollywood and then it's no wonder, man, that people say he's....?
Well the good thing with these chases is that if you pull one, you've pulled them all.
This is my biggest problem with them. They just took the same formula and duplicated it 6 times, plugging in different powers for each character. VERY little creativity went into these figures. Of course I still want Thorr.

Awwww, that stinks. I was just watching M*A*S*H the other day and thinking fondly on all the episodes watched with my Dad.

And before that...of "December Bride," the early and successful TV sit-com on which he played the likeable next-door neighbor, Pete, who was married to the unseen wife, Gladys --- the butt of his jokes.
Harry Morgan was so popular as Pete that they produced a spinoff, "Pete and Gladys." Only problem was: TV viewers were so used to NOT seeing Gladys that I think it created something similar to a radio show/theater of the mind sort of situation; everybody had his or her own idea of a physical-form Gladys.
Recalling this, as I watched both shows as a kid, I'd always envisioned the unseen Gladys as another Lucy.
So when "Pete and Gladys" was put on the CBS schedule, I think it would have been nigh-impossible for just about anyone to pull it off. As capable as Cara Williams was...the show lasted only two seasons.
Anyway...
Peace, Harry.

I would hate having the Watcher as an event dial. despite what Lame-0 Jeph Loeb would like you to believe, the Watcher and probably has access to enough power to make a crappy character like Red Hulk someone spoken of in the past tense.

If anybody is getting the Superman Fast Forces pack and you don't care/want your HCO redemption codes, I would be more than happy to utilize them for you!
Just pm me the code if you care to do so.

I picked up the Lord Of the Rings starter set today and I've got to say, those poor heroes are lunchmeat if they don't get a lot more support soon.
