Who here loves their swarm teams? I like playing tentpoles, but on Thursday I'm going to teach a new player the benefits of playing a swarm team instead of the same 250 point figure that he recently pulled. He assumes that because it is high points, that will make him win. I was thinking either Amazons or SHIELD. Other ideas?

I'm the wrong guy to ask, since that's the opposite of my usual playstyle. Harpua has been known to run a good generic swarm or several, though.

I love playing Leader and Humanoids.

I prefer Hydra but that is mostly golden age stuff. I have to play those Dreadnoughts!

Hydra was another that I was considering, but I really want to get more of the Technicians and Footsoldiers before I do that. Swarms are quite a bit of fun if you have the time to play them.

All-time favorite team = 10 Atlantean Warriors + Namor (and + Attuma w/AP at 600)
