So I'm only on my 2nd week of our shortened summer break, and yesterday find out that I will have 4 new classes to teach next year, though one of them is a revamp of a class I have taught before. But the curriculum has been changed with no input from anyone who actually teaches the class.
It was pretty awesome, but the guy running it was a grizzled old infantry LT Colonel who was really not all that excited about playing a wargame.
It was a 2 credit class if I recall, and the same game was used at higher level officer education courses at the time. By the time I was going to any field grade officer courses, computer simulations had taken over from any physical wargaming.
I did not know Greenwich Mean Time had a whole wargame dedicated to it. Seems like it could be interesting, if you can find the...
time
That actually sounds like a game that a group of people (the National Security Council or something) run at Gencon and a few other places (military schools too I think) where everyone has a role in a country and they want to help their country but also their own standing. I got to be Mao one year and it was amazing.
I went to a farm and fed mealworms to chickens. I cannot get the smell off my hands.
Use a little turpentine to clean a paintbrush or break up varnish or something that needs cleaned. The turpentine will get the smell off and you'll have done something that's long overdue.
Or just spill a little gas over your hand at the gas pump. I would recommend NOT lighting the gas on fire. That went poorly.

Surprisingly enough I don't have turpentine anywhere in the house. It eventually wore off after I scrubbed with a sponge, soap, and baking powder.
I am almost done canning my jams. I got 3 cans from my homegrown wild raspberries, 5 cans of cherries that were on sale at the store, and 1 can of raspberry/cherry (remnants). when I was taste testing I am ecstatic with the raspberries and happy with the cherries. If I was able to freeze the raspberries from when I first picked them until they were not producing fruit I probably would have 10 jars of it. Though they were damn good to eat.

Clutch is a great band. I definitely take them for granted because I have never seen them in concert even though they always play a new years show here every flipping year.

I'm guessing you live near Baltimore or Germantown.
I would highly recommend seeing them live, they go all jam band, at times, live! I've seen then 10-15 times going back to the late 90's, back when the singer didn't have a beard, lol.
Wishing for competitive Judge Dredd figures for Modern Age...WizKids are you listening?!?!

Yep, I do live in MD.
Once Mastodon came around every big and crunchy band thought they need to have big and crunchy beards.
