We have those here in Vegas, and we also have a local chain called Lee's Liquors. I rarely by alcohol, but when I do it seems to be some niche product for a specialty drink, or a specific wine that was recommended to give as a gift - and one of those two places usually has what I need.

How was Maiden? That sucks about The Sword.

I mean I guess, I just don't know if I'm actually having fun or just ruining football more than the NFL already ruined it for me this year.

Maiden was great as always. The stage show is always fun. They first played a few from the new album and then the rest was classic Maiden. At this point I would love for them to play 1 song per album and see what they come up with. Or even better, have a set 2 legs of a tour, the first leg will be songs from the odd albums and the second leg would be the even albums.

I have been a Lions fan since I can remember. You should perhaps recalibrate your idea of "ruining football" because it can sure get worse.

My high hopes have been soundly getting whomped back down to reality this season.

I more mean the whole Deshaun Watson situation just really gets under my skin, and it's made it a lot more difficult to watch this year. My Falcons aren't doing too bad for what was supposed to be a rebuilding year.

Tomorrow is my office moving day. Based on how unprepared the whole thing currently is, and the ineptitude of my boss, I predict a massive clusterfxxx.

Got roped into a trivia team at a new venue by my mother-in-law. Playing on her family team at a local country club. Packed house, and 10 teams of up to 8 players. The team that defeated me and my partner's team at my local coffee/gaming shop was there, and kicked our butts by like 7 questions over a 70 question evening. It was an ass whooping. Us and another team or two were basically playing for second place. My team was full of very casual players who were all about the drinking, but usually had a question or two per round that they could help with, or even knew. But it was pretty much just me most of the time. I suspect an LPC team would be formidable at a trivia contest, if we can get some of the old timers back on board. Now to just figure out how that could ever be arranged since we don't do Heroclix conventions anymore...

ON the fantasy football front, my smart alec little 8 year old was finally caught up in his own machinations. Remember how he made like 26 teams on ESPN Fantasy sports without permission? Found out last night that he'd created his own game profile, and submitted a fake email address in order to make those 26 teams a couple months ago. He either logged out of the Fantasy app, or maybe there was an update or something that required him to log back in, and lo and behold, he can't log in, and he doesn't have any way to reset/update password because he used a fakeass password. Serves the kid right.

My record is 4-3 in my pay league, but I'm in 3rd place behind two 7-0 teams. I have the 2nd most Points For, by a good bit, but those top two teams just keep beating teams, even when they have a down week. It's uncanny, esp for the 2nd place team that has fewer points for than I do, but the opponent's Points Against is like the lowest in the league. That kind of luck can't hold. right?

Bosses probably aren't the best equipped for said moves. Find some former NCO from the military, or the system maintenance guru, and let them organize it. Good luck, and give us a good After Action Review.
