So I attended my retirement briefings today for the Army. It's a pretty awesome feeling, but would be even better if I didn't have like 20 years more to go in my civilian job before retirement in that also.

In other news I stupidly drove through a flooded back country road in our minivan in BFE Ohio, and barely, barely made it through. Like, I could feel the current pulling the van sideways as it slowed to near stalling. Many, many cuss words were uttered as I made it across. ####ing stupid thing to do. I was on my own, of course. Definitely wouldn't have done it with the family in the car.
