I am gunning hard for Hydra Stomper because he seems like he could be a fun to play combo-type of toon. The last time I did this was with Karnak and that paid off nicely since he was actually almost meta. I hope this is true for HS. The most frustrating thing is that the very first node against Chavez I can never win!
Polaris, C4rol, and HS is my team I am trying our for this PVE. Seems to work, but Polaris is booster so I guess it should always work.

I agree he looks fun, but only if he tanks for at least some colors. In his Intro event, I can "play down" to use him and enjoy him, but outside of that, the only use I have for him is teaming him up with Prof X/Onslaught and using his green to give me a little more board-shake when I need it.
I really like his anti-stun synergy and would like to see more of that. The game has keywords and rarely uses them. I'd love to see more of that. (Electro is a good step in that direction though she's hardly all that great).
I'm counting down 6 days until Shang-Chi hits the legendary store. I've got 141 pulls right now which puts at earning 3/day. I'm looking forward to what that morning's pulls are going to be like.
Fyi...
Maybe others already knew this. I suspected it, but I just confirmed it.
If you hit a milestone but do not cash it in you will continue to accrue the stuff for the next level.
I noticed that my Team Up milestone was at 197/200, so I used a few TUs to hit 200. Then I played more and used two more before cashing it in.
I am now at 202/400, so I guess I will hit that sometime in 2026.

Probably not that long. For one thing, there's a "use a TU" quest that comes up every day or two that wasn't there for the first 5 years or so. Secondly, now that there ARE quests, I find myself using TUs much more liberally. I'm at 375/400 now and I am very certain that I earned the 200 TU level during the time we've had milestone quests.
I typically request 1* Juggernaut (ideally a Juggie with just 5 green covers) because a 6-cost "board shake" can be very useful, especially when playing Prof X/Onslaught (does that pairing have a nickname? I like Profslaught)

Chuck-O?
I like them with Apoc, but I do not leave them on defense. They can be fast as lightning, but that takes more though than the AI is going to have, so I do not trust them to defend themselves properly. The only downside is that sometimes I get a match that offers no match-4s (or higher). That can suck.
I won't hesitate to go against them, but you do risk getting a whooping I they hit some cascades. I mean, I could have just played against them nine times and come out nearly unscathed with the W every time, and then on that 10th time they get a lucky string of cascades and just slap me silly and have a KO or two by turn two.
Just going to share because I got some awesome pulls from Operation Spider Silk.
Had 8 pulls saved, earned 6 pulls, and spent 300 HP so 17 pulls out of 80.
8 2*s
6 3*s
2 4*s (HS and Polaris)
1 LT
one of those 3*s was Doc Ock which made him a max champ and another LT.
HS is coming along nicely with 6 covers once I spend the shards. Like NBPerp said, which I realized due to the wording of the power, HS needs to tank more colors for him to be most effective and pair well with C4rol.
Side note, I think I need about 3million more ISO to champ all my 4*s that still need to be champed AND still keep my million ISO buffer. I think I will try to wait until I get all the ISO so I can do it all at once. Why? Cause it's not like I am going to be using Yondu or Talos anytime soon.

I would do it as you go.
Like, if Talos is featured in some PVE in the near future, go ahead and champ him for that.
Speaking of sitting on stuff, the upcoming SinSix event has made me revisit my plan of saving up my 4* farm crop.
The alliance should get 3 Gamora covers from that event.
My second Gamora is at 13 covers, unleveled. She also has 1000 shards and 7 saved covers. In total if I champed her and applied the levels she would get 9 rewards.
With the alliance covers she would go up 12 levels.
She is a feeder for Thanos, so that would get him a cover.
It kinda makes me think that I am doing myself a disservice by not champing her.
Plus, I am sure that my pulls per day figures are impacted negatively, too.
Plus, I am sure that my pulls per day figures are impacted negatively, too.
When I initially started hording, waiting for Ronan to rotate out, I horded everything. Standards, hero, etc. I also started watching my pull rate, since I didn't have much else to do while hording. And I got really nervous when my rate was close to 2.1 or so.
Part of the reason to horde non-LTs was to also be sure to champ whatever 4* came out during the season. Then you made the wise advice that, living in 5* land, we don't have to sweat the 4*s. And so I cracked everything. And my 2.1 average jumped up to 2.8 or so.
I also decided to empty out my vault reserves (all save the Taco reserves). I also got lucky with a Taco vault that had two 4*s that were each one cover away from an LT reward, so I cracked into that vault. Anyway, I'm here on day 50 of hording and I've got 151 LTs. So I'm feeling pretty good about what I'm going to see when I crack this horde on Monday.
The only wrench right now is that Hydra Stomper feeding Killmonger might want time to favorite him to accelerate his rewards. However, I'm too excited to open on Monday, that I'm willing to wait even another 4 weeks before I started moving him up. I've got a plan I'm happy with (somewhere earlier in this thread)
I don't remember from year to year: the anniversary: what are the stores and vaults like?
Was it a rolling schedule? Stores or vaults opening and closing all month long?
I've saved up c.p. and l.l., trying to time my spending for best results, hope to finally get a bunch of 5-stars champed.
Fool, Idiot, Loser, Moron, Misfit, Schmoe.
Progressive-Centrist Republican, Deist.
Trying to be useful, expecting to be fired.

NEW ORIGINAL CHARACTER: Deadpool (Spirit of Vengeance)
Deadpool was hired to eliminate a popular taco truck vendor. But when he arrived to do the deed, he was swayed by their delicious “Hellfire” Tex-Mex and decided to spare them instead. It was then that Deadpool’s mysterious client appeared: Mephisto!
Due to Mephisto’s Hellfire chillies, the vendor found new success and celebrated by donating free food to the community. But charity wasn’t part of the deal; the price had to be paid. In a rage at Deadpool’s mercy, Mephisto forced him to take on the Spirit of Vengeance! Now, he spreads hellfire and delivers punishment along with his fellow Ghost Riders (that is, when they aren’t bickering).
More information on this chile-ing new version of Deadpool coming soon!
