But should we expect that it won't bump up prices?
I suppose they could declare it has a higher price separately while still charging the same price per case at the wholesale level, as Wizkids will only be selling sealed cases. If so, this would increase the incentive for fans to buy at the brick level and above. At the moment, though, I'm just finding it difficult to believe that these will be substantially larger -- and likely heavier -- and Wizkids will simply absorb the difference. I'd love to see them do it, but I can't bring myself to expect it.
The issue is, They have to announce the price change before pre-sales ect. And honestly thats not to far away. What I dont get is why mention in your slide show a change in individual booster prices and not mention case/brick changes, seems dumb to me.
Just narrowly averted yet another major workplace disaster. This would have been the third one in three weeks. I'm starting to strongly dislike most of my co-workers. At least half of them seem completely incapable of following directions on any level. I don't want to have to train new people this far into a semester, but I'm amazed they've been put up with this far.
I'm sure some of the problem is my boss training people very poorly, but this particular near-miss is directly the result of someone ignoring the notes I left them and doing nothing instead of some very easy cleanup. Bah humbug.

Probably more of slip-up than anything, though they could have been looking to see how much of a reaction it elicited. As you say, we'll have to know before much longer.
You can already imagine how it will go here on the Realms once it's made official.
People will react and some will over-react.
The Apologists will quickly arise to chide the fretters, pointing out how long it's been since we've seen a rise in booster prices, that this isn't a rise in standard booster prices, that Wizkids doesn't owe them anything (with side-mentions of a culture of "entitlement"), and no one is forcing them to buy any of it.
I'll mark it all down as another reason to stay out of GD, and will join Sox in the chant "Never leave the boat. Never leave the boat."

Really? I didn't see any change in case cost.
Going back to check I see that my GSX cases were still going at a lower rate in the pre-sale. Mine ran $139.99 each. That was $10 less than Cap cost me and $15 less than Superman. Yeah, GSX was the last time I really saw that deep of pre-sale discount.

I meant Didnt. typo :P and not going back and proof reading.
The repaints bug me. They make the sets seem repetitive. If they want to use repaints, why don't they space them out? Give us Lyra now and then Thundra in Galactic Guardians. Give us John Jameson now and Rick Jones in Mighty Avengers. If they planned these things out better, it wouldn't feel like the sets were bogged down with reused sculpts and repetitive figures so much.
Were you around for Ispitonme Challenge - Colostomy Damage?
I'm still collecting some REVs and, by comparison, the number of repaints doesn't bother me so much.

Heh-heh. Oh, how that Ignore List is going to come in handy, just in time for "Be Kind to Your Blood Pressure Week."

Hey, I tried telling it to Kurtz, but he wouldn't take off the headphones and was too busy tapping his foot to The Doors.
As for us, maybe if we can get a few more to chant along with us, Miraclo, we can slip into our chitons and serve as a Greek Chorus!
How about it, Commandercool?
Tim Burton was right: "A square jaw does not a Batman make." Steve Buscemi as the next Batman! Luke Perry as Joker! Let's make it happen!
Shadowlands Daredevil just made SI Iron Fist a bit more nasty.
Nope. Matt Murdock's card shows three Daredevils from the Hulk set that he can turn into. 2 from the regular set and one, presumably from the LE set, but it could be from a FF set.
If the third one was from a Fast Forces and was a redial of the uncommon #21 version then it wouldn't upset me as much. This set has a ton of recycled sculpts and now tons of recycled characters too? This is not boding well.

I'm going to need to mull over the Matt Murdoch and two (2?!) Daredevils in this set before I decide on how much I do or don't like them. The AEs still strike me as wasted space and a flawed mechanic.
Matt will be especially popular on indoor and/or cluttered maps.
The first Daredevil (021) bothers me straightaway by having no leap/climb for his first four clicks! The Trait, on the other hand, is excellent. The single target and lack of Incap initially bothers me, but given the cost of Incap and the ranges he gets, I accept that decision.
The second, possessed, dark DD (031) at least gets his ability to easily move about and get up and down the outside of buildings in place up-front. More versatile and definitely better able to deal damage. The Mystics TA is an interesting, but apt, turn. No move-and-attack in this one, but he's meant to be leading a force. All in all, this feels more like an LE version than one that would be in the set, which makes me a little more apprehensive about what they decided to save for the LE.
Should I ready a voodoo doll in the event that they decided to save a more fully-rounded DD, perhaps including an Avengers (hey, he could even get Defenders, as he worked with them) keyword, to be an LE?
