Hmmm. Seems like the lady's kinda gun shy and an invitation to come over to your place could be misconstrued. This is probably too soon to implement, even if you're considering cooking a meal together or something of the sort.

You mentioned that she drives 45 minutes to reach you. How about next time you offer to drive out to her area and find something to do out there? I don't mean invite yourself to her place, just find out what local stuff there is to do over in her neck of the woods.

Dinner sounds like an excellent idea - and Mongolian grill is pretty great. Heck, you can even have conversations standing in line while your food is being grilled. If the restaurant is closer to her than to you, so much the better.

That having been said, I agree that at this stage of the game you need more talk/data input/feedback. By getting to know her, she is getting to know you and hopefully that is leading to the beginning of mutual attraction and affection.

I sneak into her house and put a dead bunny in a steaming pot, but that's just me...

She lives.....in the middle of nowhere. The nearest town to her is a town of 100 people, and there's nothing charming about that place at all. This was a point we were on agreement on yesterday.

This is kinda frustrating for me, because if we were more serious, I know exactly where we'd be going: A winery. There's 100's of them in this area, I know where all of them are, and I know where the best ones are, and plenty are mid-way between us. There's mental notes that have been made on this matter, along with an attached sticky note of "This will probably be wasted information someday". And boy would I like to take that note down and burn it in a fire while dancing around it naked and cackling like a madman.

I go to check out all these open game threads, but then I remember I'm dead in all of them.

It's an amusing moment of hope followed by instant sadness.

Just finished Justified Season 2. I really enjoyed it. Weird to have a show with so many important characters meet their demise. Bold choice on the writers' part, and I approve.

Also ended up watching 2 discs of Veronica Mars Season 1 last night when I had a friend over. He seriously just sat there, watching from 8 pm to 2 am. It was pretty funny, considering he doesn't watch TV at all.

Argh!! I haven't finished S2 yet. I'm waiting for someone to catch up.

I need to stop reading the Munchkin game. It makes me sad.
