Always scared I am going to say the wrong thing. Maybe it was saying I couldn't understand the first chapter in the first book of the Dark Tower. Probably makes me look stupid or something.

Haha, dude, relax. Here, lemme tell ya a little story about how I was introduced to my best friend.

I was walking with a friend of mine back to my dorm during some free time. He runs into her (they'd met before) and they start talking. Since they're conversing about baking, I get in on the conversation. We have a nice, long friendly chat, when she says something in conversation about how awkward it is when you run into someone at, say, a party or something and they just start talking to you for half an hour without actually introducing themselves.

Oh. ####.

I immediately stuck out my hand and said, "Hi, [JKLantern's name]. Nice to meet you."

She almost fell over laughing from the sheer hamfisted awkwardness of it.
