We've always played the same team all three rounds. If everyone else wants to allow changing teams each round, I have no problem with it. What do y'all think?
I have no problem with changing teams between matches, but I am a casual player for the most part. Since I am new to the group, I will go along with whatever everyone else says.

hmmmm... Well, i've always built my teams for the SBL with the thought in mind that i would be playing it for three games... Also, it often takes me at least one game to figure out the synergies between the figures. I'd vote for keeping the same force all three games (but it's not an emphatic vote).

Oh wow I thought we were allowed to change teams between rounds I thought the last sealed we did I don't remember keeping the same each game.

Sorry MightyQ11, I didn't realize you had changed teams last set.
Looks like the consensus is to keep the same team all three rounds.
We have seven players confirmed so far. If anyone else is interested in playing some sealed games, we could really use another player to avoid having a bye.
Since I don't have Battle Planner, I used a variation of Gwachitallemalla's random booster generator and the PBE Games Dice Roller to generate the boosters. Each player gets two boosters from which to build a 300 point team. Good luck!
There are several of us that got 3 commons in a booster, should be 2 common, 2 uncommon, 1 rare/sr/chase. 8 boosters in total, only Tanis had a normal distribution

Is this normal for the league?
I'd like to hear/see a response to this before I start putting my team together...
For the last few years, I've been tracking my booster pulls. I only buy single boosters so it's probably not completely accurate, but I just wanted to see if I pull close to the average distribution that I see posted. Using these numbers, I came up with the percentage of boosters with each distribution. These percentages are the formula I use for boosters in the SBL. Following are the percentages per distribution:
R = 66%
SR = 34% (if a booster is SR, there is a 5% chance it is a chase)
The PBE Games Dice Roller came back with an unusual amount of high rolls, so there were an unusual amount of odd boosters.
Sorry for the long-winded explanation. If the majority of player would prefer a standard 2-2-1 distribution, I'll be happy to re-roll the boosters (or someone else could), but I probably won't have time until the weekend.
I'll hold off on posting games for the first round for a couple days in order to get feedback. Let me know what y'all think!
if, as a result of this method, everyone is on the same footing (i.e. if one or two players don't have a crazy competitive advantage), then the distribution should be fine ...

Well you are the only one who didn't get a SR with their 3 commons booster so you have a leg to stand on if you want a redo.
I haven't done as extensive research into this as swerve has but I don't recall in any of the more recent sets this being the case. I know that I opened 3 boosters from ADW with SRs, all had the 2 c, 2 uc, 1 r/sr/ch distribution. Those were the last 3 boosters I opened so maybe it's different.
I like my pulls from the set, brings back good memories, but it just feels off to me having it distributed this way. I would prefer we all have the same distribution but I am game with whatever is decided.
For this set, anyone who wants can get a re-roll on their boosters with standard 2-2-1 distribution. Those who like what they got can play as is. If this seems fair, I'll send a PM to everyone to see if they want new boosters.
Going forward, I'll do a standard 2-2-1 distribution. Let me know if the following formula is accurate.
R = 66%
SR = 34% (if a booster is SR, there is a 5% chance it is a chase)

Sure, sounds fair enough. I know that the chase for this set was 1:10 so that'd be 10% overall and it took the spot of the rare. However, I have no idea how that formula is supposed to work for the boosters so whatever you choose is fine with me.
