I'm recruiting. Our alliance has little in the way of requirements - daily play and alliance event participation. We missed Wave 8 by a bit and that's partly due to 2 open spots and partly due to some underperformance.

I'm looking for at least 2 players but I'm willing to make room for 4 new folks, if that's what it took to fill seats.

The alliance is named MP Questers and is currently marked private. I'll open it up to folks who let me know the in-game name they want to come in with.

I just want to say that whoever decided that 4-star Professor X should be the Deadpool's Daily solo act is cruel. Professor X as a solo act almost entirely relies on the luck you may have in the pieces lining up to get match-5s. Otherwise, he's just trying to survive by going invisible.

How many people were playing in your alliance?

WE had 10 solid playing and 3 or so doing a little bit and we just missed wave 8 by having 1 more solid player.

IF you ever wanted to try to join alliances I can bring it up to the group then maybe together we would have a solid 20 playing daily.

I have a level 5 Stormbreaker which I used against MAgneto and a level 4 Taskmaster Sword against Elektra. Somehow I one-shotted Magneto. Get your Purple in so you can turn invisible ASAP and things should go better. But yes, X4 is not a great solo act.

I wish I had kept better records. I know we have 2 slots because we are at 18/20. I am comfortable saying I can free up 4 slots is because 2 of those 18 didn't participate in the alliance event.

Now, if we were to merge the alliances so that the stronger players were in one group, I think I'd have at least 12 folks who would want to be in that group. Now, that said, I'm pretty sure we had less than 10 people make personal progression in the alliance event, which is telling.

Maybe I'll put it out there that this is being considered and that we are going to use the next alliance event as a way to determine the top 20 from both alliances. What do you think?

I am by no means the ringleader of our alliance but I think it is an interesting idea.

I think that the big difference is that you have collect contact info with your alliance members but not on my end, which may make it challenging to gain an answer. I will ask others if they would be willing to merge with another alliance (of other clix people?) and see how that flies.

I only open tokens when the daily quest tells me to these days, so I didn't even realize Spider-Gwen had moved into LT until late last night.

My horde "Cracking" was going to be minimal and if anyone wants the full spread of data I normally put out there, I have it and am happy to share.

The TL/DR version is that after 10 pulls, I got Jeffrey #13 and it was all over.

ha ha ha ha that's good enough for me. As for combining alliances I am not getting any feedback from a lot of the others in the alliance. It is not make or break with me but it makes it hard to recruit people if we can't beat an alliance event.

I'm quite liking the lightning 1-day deals. I am not sinking any money into it for the cheap $2 offers, but the 50 and 100 HP offers are just fine with me

New character: 4* Silver Samurai. No retro rewards in the feeders.

They have been good. I wonder if they will reuse the same offers on the same day week after week.

Alliance event starts today

If my alliance fails to reach Wave 8 again, I'll have data to use to decide who my dead weight is - if merging alliances is on the table

I couldn't really get many people to budge or respond. It was a nice idea in theory.

This morning I put a quick post in reddit saying our alliance is looking for 3 people. 2 people came in. 1 person who is trying to quickly have a good roster and has Juggy, Grocket, and Polaris as their only 4 champs as well as half a BRB. The rest of the roster are 3 champs and a number of low 5*s. But that can be helpful with boss events. The other person who joined has most of everything 4 and below max champed and a maxed Okoye with Kitty and BRB at the 500's as well. When looking at that person's roster I thought they joined the wrong alliance. Maybe they just wanted something casual.

I'm back for the event again, but please replace me if you find someone who will contribute more.

(Side note: I pre-reg'd for the new DC Heroes & Villains game, and was disappointed to see it's yet another Match-3. They've got some clever mechanics but I deleted it already. Between that and DC Dual Force, not a great stretch for DC games...)
