I have been working on a new name for an ogre thread for a while now. I will probably not be the 1000th poster.

As I was replying to that last post, the kiddo walks up to me and asks me to tell her the names of the combat symbols off to the side of the post window. I say, "Well that's the boot speed symbol, and that that's the Sharpshooter symbol. That one is the Transporter symbol." And just then she interjects, "That means that you can carry someone when you are running." I grin from ear to ear and continue, "That's the wing symbol and that's the Transporter wing symbol." At which point she again says, "That means you can carry someone when flying." And when we got to the dolphin symbol she again said, "That means you can carry someone when you are swimming."

Sniff. I'm so proud.

haha..i love it when my daughter runs over and gives me a kiss. I got a few years before we get to combat symbols.

Is anyone in here good at Physiology? (Stuff like action potential, membranes, Nernst equation...)

I had AP Bio in high school...

I hope it's something like "The Last Posting Ogre Club" or something like that, just for giggles.

Kids truly say the darndest things.

I can see my kids now.

"Ok, class, welcome to your first day of kindergarten. We're going to start by learning about colors. This right here is red. What are some things we see around us everyday that are red? Billy?"

"Apples!"

"Very good. What else? Michael?"

"Fire Trucks!"

"Excellent! Anything else? How about you, KO Bossy Jr.?"

"Ranged Combat Expert!"

"O.............k............"

Thankfully I never access the Ogre thread via Another Realm. I always just click on it in my User CP. Otherwise I think that could be quite confusing. Which is to say, I'm all for it.

I dont cause certain perople will get butthyrt again... I still dont think they are over it.

No not that. Although it is a good idea. It is something that I was toying with 2 threads ago.

As I look at my idea as the days go by the idea looks worse and worse. But I will stick with it.

If I get it this time I'll be doing "Last Ogre Clan: Free Substances".
