Yeah, I've seen that as well, but with the Modern Captain America.

Internet reception at my parents' summer house is a bit spotty, so I was unable to do my nightly grind last night. I was still in the top 200 this morning though, so that bodes well for getting a Captain Marvel even if I am unable to do the last minute grind.

Grinding up to 7 and waking up down at 120 6 hours later is annoying. Tonight will be busy, and I'll have to try and get some matches in during the day too...

Ok. So all my grinding on that unstable IOS thing was for nothing because between bed last night I went from #26 in rank to 100+. No way I'm winning a Carol now. Oh well, I don't have enough slots for her anyhow.


I just used my gold to get 3 more character slots and filled two of em. I have 3 character cards and am not sure which to use, Dark Avenger Moonstone, Dark Avenger Daken or Original Black Widow.


That being said, I'm only 7 levels from maxing out Iron Man and both modern Mags and Dark Avenger Venom are at level 30! I wanna level up Thor and Astonishing Wolverine, but I need more cards to do so.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but top 200 is good enough for a Carol. That's what I'm banking on since tonight is Board Game night.

As for your covers, go Original Black Widow (OBW). Even though they nerfed her healing recently, she is still excellent. Bonus damage for certain color matches, healing to keep you topped off mid-match, and stealing AP from the other team. Pair her with Thor or Ares.

OBW is probably the best 2* in the game. She does just about everything that the beefy guys don't, so she's a perfect match to play.

Of the other two, I'd say Daken over Moonstone, and Carol over either should you finish top 200.

You can't win her otherwise for awhile. And she's going to be boosted and required in the next event (like Steve is in this one) so missing out sucks a lot.

I'm less than 1000 points out of first in my bracket, so I'm really hoping to keep top 20, but I'm kinda not expecting to. Top 50 will be fine though, but I really wanted to not have to worry about needing a particular cover later.

Well you are going to need Black Regardless as I don't believe the Alliance will get high enough to get that reward.

You get black at 20 also. That's why I was really hoping to place that high.

I'd actually taken Moonstone over Daken. She's got some very useful powers and a solid reservoir of hit points. Daken is good, but all he has are healing and attack tiles. I've got my Moonstone maxed and she always fares well.

Daken is way better. His True healing and free attack tiles are so good. And he is getting his third ability soon.

Think I could pull another cover of her with one of my many random silver "?" tokens? I hecka wanna level her up past the starting 3 star 40 level.

Anyway I literally hit 50 in the last 2 minutes, so I was pretty happy with that turnout. Two Carol covers and one that will actually do something in battle heh :D

No, it will be a while before Carol (or any other new character) is available in standard tokens. But at least this meand you'll be able to play the required nodes in the next PvE...
