Different brand, perhaps? Worked for me.

I used to eat the ramen noodles straight from the package without cooking them. It was very crunchy and very messy.


The fancy ramen experiment was a failure before it started. The restaurant was closed for "emergency construction". I ended up eating at a Cuban restaurant.

I would just strain the water and mix the flavor with the cooked noodles!

I never ate ramen, the noodle consistency/texture doesn't do it for me.

How was that?

Never been to a ramen restaurant, pho places, but never ramen. You can make it better at home. Though spamming you with a ton of ramen for secret santa would be interesting.

The spicy ramen is the best.

My unit got a care package while I was in Iraq from some American school in Asia- like Hong Kong or Singapore or something. There were dozens of ramen noodle packs in it, and a few of them were marked with super hot warning symbol type stuff.
The words were in Mandarin, and I felt daring. It was a poor decision, and it was on an empty stomach. I did not die, but wanted to.

It lasted for several hours, and I felt something akin to what I imagine a heart attack to be.
This was while MySpace was still a thing, and I wrote a blog about it. Wish I could still find those old blogs.
Anyway, haven't had ramen since.
