People need to accept the fact that the A-List X-Men Sell.

And that while some of these have been Clix'd befoore, there is room for improvement.

If the entire set was nothing buy C and D listers who nobody cares about, Wizkids would be slitting their own throats. It would be like not putting Spider-Man in a Spider-Man set. Or including Batman, Superman, and WW in the DC 75th set.

Like I said, haven't had a Hulk (as in THE Hulk) in over three years.

Was mostly referring to moving him away from a tantruming toddler.

And making him more of a well rounded character, rather than a plot device.

I liked his friendship with Sammy "Squidboy" Pare aka "Sub-Mariner" as well.

It's incredible that in a set full of x-men... we are still missing a lot of important x-men figures. Hope they will include 5 to 10 x-men related figures on every set so we needn't another full mutant set. I think some of the most important are missing because this was the only way to include teams like the reavers on a set.

I'm hoping for future themes being Cosmic set (with the now closed storyline of annihilation+conquest+war of kings+realm of kings+ thanos imperative there is a lot of material to cover) and anpother being a "teen" set including all the young heroes. This 2 sets would cover up a good number of x-men figs, like the new starjammers and the academy-x class. Even Kitty could be included on a cosmic set as she has been traveling through space a lot of time...

I'm missing:

-Kitty Pryde. Even is she ends up on a duo, I want a solo fig Kitty. Even her pet is included.
-Colossus (solo). He is in the cover, and we need a Colossus cheaper than the MM one (colossus is more a 100 points class than a 150 class) and also better for the points than him.
-Gambit is on the cover too, and he could be at least the horsemen Death, as the other x-men to be Death are included. The MM one is good, but is more of a epic first clix then drop a lot.
-The acamey-x class. Specially Hellion.
-The rest of X-Factor.
-Havok.
-Polaris.
-Cable. I think he is going to be in a duo, but specially after the events of second coming, I want him as a solo fig.
-Toad: He is the only one from the original brotherhood to not be playable in modern age. Now that we completed first class x-men with angel, toad deserves a spot.

And i'm glad to see included the veteran versions of each component of the first class on this set :D.

I think it is more that prior to M&M, there weren't really any Hulk figures that played like Hulk from the comics despite the character appearing in assorted releases from Infinity Challenge to Avengers. With M&M, pretty much every Hulk in that set (including Maestro) is playable.

I certainly agree that Hulk is worthy of a few more decent modern dials, and I'm ready to see the current clix infatuation with Iron Man be redirected in the direction of the Big Green Cheese. We had spectacularly bad Iron Man figures give way to some interesting playable ones...and now we are just getting too many minor variants of Iron Man. (See also Spider-Man).

This set gave reinforcements to the Brotherhood, X-force, Freedom Force, and oh yeah, THE HELLFIRE CLUB.

That's beyond cool.

I'm crossing my fingers that the Iceman in the set 1) doesn't suck. And 2) is Silver Age Iceman with dual X-Men/Defenders TA's and the following non generic keywords: X-Men, X-Factor, Champions, Defenders

Wow this set looks amazing. The sculpts are looking great and what a character list! Pyro looks awesome!

I can believe were getting such obscure characters as gatecrasher, predator X and the reavers. Not to mention C'hod!!

Theres a few remakes that seem uneessary but the modern rogue, cyclops and wolverine are really welcome additions. Harry Leland is going to be a must! Fitzroy is great! Leech and Caliban too! Amazing.

The only figs I'm not too bothered about are Gideon and some of the horsemen.

Who thinks were going to get another Wade Cole (Hellfire Gaurd LE) to finish the reavers lineup?

Shame we didn't get Moira and some of the new x-men but colour me happy with that list so far!

I was really hoping to see Kitty in this set too...idk why they added Beast and Emma from Astonishing X-Men when they got a figure in M&M and Kitty hasn't gotten one since Sinister...
I was also hoping to see more of the younger generation like Mercury...but at least I got Elixir...
and I was hoping for a new Polaris as well...
then Hellions look cool...hopefully we'll get some New Mutants soon

I'm still happy though with the figures in this set...I'm just hoping and praying that I manage to get Phoenix...she looks amazing, I just hope her dial does her justice...

on a side note, it's kinda wierd that Phoenix and Storm aren't wearing the same costumes they were on the cover of the boosters...

Kind if disappointed that we have a single Stryfe, but no Cable. We get Lockheed instead of getting Pixie.

Would have liked to have seen a Dark Child Magick. Would have LOVED to have seen a large bionic monster of Cameron Hodge from the Extinction Agenda.

Where are the duo's that was said to have been "put back into the boosters."
