What the hell, computer? I have a ginormous excel document to print out, and I click landscape orientation to save a few pages, and then it preoceeds to print out the whole thing in portrait orientation anyway.
And when I click to view progress, it tell me it's on page 448/112. WTF?

I get that quite a bit as well. Never understood it...
I didn't go to Harvard or Yale but I can kick a man in the crotch as well as any other.
And now that there's only a few pages left, it started printing THOSE with landscape orientation, so it doesn't match up with the rest of the document. the hell?

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to wintremute again.
I'll hit him up again soon. Actually, Wade should rep him for me. Wade never reps anyone!

I'm not looking for a Chris Rock comedy routine when I read the previews but I guess the dude I quoted wants gut-busting laughter when he's reading about little plastic superheroes. (He should check out all the spelling errors in his post; that's some funny stuff right there.)

That's kind of a cool idea, a "Designer's Note" paragraph included as part of the review. Probably would work best with smaller sets, though.
Well I for one expect more out of the WizKids website, but slamming it for having a preview (especially since we get so many now) is just, I don't know...stupid.
Here is my complaint. Yes, I'm whining...now pay attention!
I plan on going to a midnight sealed tournament tomorrow night for the Hulk set. I planned on taking off work a little early today, get to bed a little earlier, so I'll be fresh and mentally strong (it's subjective) for the tournament. However, right now, I'M STUCK AT WORK ON A STUPID PROJECT THAT'S GOING TO MAKE ALL THE WORK I'M SUPPOSED TO BE DOING TODAY HAVE TO BE DONE TOMORROW PLUS TOMORROW'S WORK AND WAH WAH WAH!
That's all. I now return you to your regularly scheduled...well....apparently "silence".

My sympathies.
If it makes you feel better, I still haven't found a new Venue.

I was just thinking about this the other day, after reading some articles by designers for Magic and Legend of the 5 Rings. I think it would be great to have something of that nature on the Wizkids website. Not necessarily for every figure, but it would be cool if there was even one article from the designer(s) for each set talking about what characters/powers they liked, how things evolved, or why any particularly interesting choices were made in designing the figures.
If nothing else, it could help the designers establish rapport with the player base, which is always a good thing.

Get on that! Or at least grab your roommate and play a few games with him.

I hate when stuff like that happens. Also, I quoted your post out order, but I'm not going to go back and change it now. So there!

I've never been able to find Asylum on disc. That show also had Jessica Stevenson from Spaced, right? A couple of older series you may want to try (if you haven't already):
Red Dwarf
The Young Ones
Have you seen the UK version of The Office. Still good viewing. (I assume you were looking for recommendations of British shows.)
I've ventured into the Red Dwaf on occassion, but haven't got passed the first series.
The Young Ones I haven't even heard of, so I'll look that up and hopefully it'll be on Netflix, but I doubt it. I did notice that Death Adder is featured on Netflix, but haven't taken the plunge because Rowan Atkinson is Mr. Bean and I can shake him playing any other part.
Never watched the UK The Office simply because I didn't like the American version when it first came out, but that's not the be all end all of it, either.
Back in the day I use to watch Are You Being Served on PBS an found it amusing.
Spaced is what I wish American TV would be like, but of course that's impossible with what UK television can get away with.
Once again, I ventured into General Discussion. And once again, I have been disappointed. I think I need to just start linking to the wikipedia entry on fundamental attribution errors in every post I make.
