I understand and respect your stance, Stan. It just seems like you are stuck in a no-win scenario when your brother has no problem leeching off your dad and then your dad enables the situation. If you sit down and talk to them, how do you think that the talk will go? What will change and how will this alleviate your level of frustration? Mind you, I am not saying that the effort would not be a noble one, or that it is not the right thing to do. In fact, you are taking the higher road. That having been said as your friend it really bugs me that you are getting hosed because you are taking up a burden that no one else is willing to handle.
The end result will be a sceaming match where no one wins. The get defensive easily and get all primal and start screaming and swinging. The most I can hope for is to let them know that I know and get it off my chest. Logic doesn't work on addicts. I'm no saint, but I try my best. Maybe I'll get to be king of the jungle in the next life. Course the jungle will get polluted or cut down and my home will be destroyed and then I'll be a homeless simian. Eh, the bananas will be worth it.

Well you DID ask. I am allowed to access and move funds as needed, but since he is deemed mentally sound until otherwise noted, I am unable to do anything against his wishes. He is also free to meddle as much as he sees fit. Unfair is an understatement. The law is not on my side at all here. And it's flawed to the core. But the laws are in place to protect the innocent. The honest and genuine people are just collateral damage.
Anyone want to answer a mafia question for me who isnt in One Good Cop?
Sure thang, olde chum. Fire away.
(You dirty dirty little biscuit, you. )

On a completely different and separate note, over the holidays I got as presents both the Back to the Future Trilogy and the Godfather Collection on Blu-ray. Finally got around to watching both sets.
Back to the Future was still great - plus it had a bunch of very cool extra features, including the "Power of Love" music video. The video is special to me because one of my best friends ever was in the crowd when it was filmed at Uncle Charlie's back in California. You get to see him for like 2 seconds. Anyhow, MJ Fox and Chris Lloyd still do it for me after all this time and (geez) the time-travelling DeLorean is my second favorite car in movies. I want one. (The first favorite is the 1966 Batmobile from the Adam West movie.)
The Godfather collection did not have as many special features as I would have liked. All the same.... Parts I and II as a whole constitute one of the finest films of all time. I mean it. The cast, the story, the soundtrack, the cinematography. Easily at the top 5 of best movies ever made. Most people think that Part III was a letdown, but it has its place. It closes the book on the life of Michael Corleone. That works just fine for me.
It is a snowy day outside. Very happy to be home.

Back to the Future is in my top 5 favorite movies ever specially part 2.
2 Martys in the same time and all that? WOW.
I watched the Godfather for first time in my life... LAST WEEK!
I did not get it. It looks like the big thing of the movie is to see mafia families from inside like people with "honor" and their codes and all. Excelet acting of course. and Part 2 have an excelent story.
The end of part 2 puzzle me. Pasino just seating remember how it all begun is strange for an ending. The thing I got is how De Niro character become as a need it force of nature to defend the people and bring justice were none else could bring justice.
The best scene for me is how De Niro friend give as a "gift" the change to go to steal on a rich house. (very original to have that as a gift) and how De Niro look in how happy his baby child is with the new carpet knwing on that moment that was going to be the way his life was going to be from now on if that would bring that happyness.
Unfortunatelly it did not touch me the movie that deep to get it in as 1 of my 100 Favorites.
Speking of cars I was watching that the hotwells lines have EVERYTHING!
You can have the most iconic cars on the same scale! The Delorean! the tv series Batmovile! the 1989 movie Batmovile! KIIT from Knight Rider! everything! Now I'm not sure what scale thay are but the really cool thing would be if they are EXACTLY the heroclix scale.
Some say that the perfect Heroclix scale is 1/46. others say that is 1/24 or bigger. I don't know but now that we finally have vehicles on Heroclix someday I will buy one of the Heroclix vehicles just to find out EXACTLY what is the official scale now.
Speaking of that what are the heroclix vehicles so far?
Invisible Jet (someday will be mine!), 2 Tanks, Police Car (that is the one to look to compare scale with others vehicles toys!), Batmovile (PUAJ! what Batmovile version is that anyways? is not 1966 tv version is not 1989 version and above all is not 80's Superfriends/ comics version! what bother then in do a Batmovile. ) Mmm what vehicles I'm missing..

Yeah, I need to get that Bluray collection. I haven't seen the Godfather movies in AGES. (Since I'm bringing my laptop in August, you need to bring that collection.) Just sayin'.
