IT WAS A DARK AND STORMY NIGHT! For like the 10th night of the last 12. So everywhere was flooded and nasty. And my basement is fighting a battle to stay dry. Casualties today included the Spectre colossal box and the original Galactus Colossal box


Anyhow, I FINALLY was able to leave a message with the power company after getting into their automated callback system. their response was pretty impressive:
Within two hours a work crew was out to do an initial assessment. Maybe an hour later a few guys trudged out to the field and used guy wires and pulleys to stabilize it. (Field is way too saturated to drive out to get to the power pole. A vehicle would sink many feet.) Just a couple hours ago, during a home clix game, a hugeass truck pulled up front and a crew unloaded a huge pole into my yard for inserting tomorrow. It is like 60-80' long! Kinda hard to tell how long it is in the dark.
Feel free to massacre the previous paragraph as the LPC sees fit.

Over the last 2 weeks I have tried calling the woman from my academy class 3 times, the last being Wednesday night. She never answers and never calls me back even though I leave voicemail. This morning I get a text from her that basically says she's too busy to call me back and that there's no point in trying to call her again and to have a good weekend. I'm on the verge of texting back something nasty but not sure if that's being too petty. What say you guys?
