I have nothing to add to the conversation, the jargon, or anything of that sort at this time.

I just wanted to say that 4-star Iron Fist looks less like Finn Jones and more like he needs to be interviewing someone while seated between two ferns and casually and uncomfortably insulting them.

OK, folks need advice. I'm not sure if I should keep cracking my horde or if I should pause for a bit and get Venomsaurus Rex through other means.

I knew I was going to have a challenge starting out this crack, because Omega Red (thanks in large part to a max-champed Sabretooth) was already champed. And Vulture already had 8 covers (with Shards).

At a certain point, I got Vulture's 13th cover. So I've got Omega Red champed. Vulture ready to be champed. And Venomsaurus Rex is sitting at 3/1/2 and 1,090 shards. So he's 5 covers away from being done.

I've used up 100 pulls to get here and I have 502 pulls left. I think V-Rex has at least 2 more goes as an Essential in PVE, which would get me at least 1 more cover.

Options:
1 - Just keep pulling until I finish Venomsaurus

2 - Change my 5* Shards to Venomsaur (that will likely finish him off next horde cracking)

3 - Wait a month and see what happens with Miles (who also has a max-champed feeder, so he's already at 6 covers). Boosts Vulture more than he probably needs.

I'm open to other ideas as well.

I have absolutely no suggestions.
I would like to hear from others as well.

Okay, fine, I came back...

When I came back for Alliance events, I'd also play DDQ as long as I was there, and whatever else I had to do to get the quests. What the heck, right?

Well, after the last one, I figured DDQ made for a nice little break. So I kept doing that and the quest. Just a few minutes, why not.

Okay, so then I started doing storylines again too...

I'm still not back to where I was before. I do one round of PvP when i absolutely have to to finish the daily quest. I'm not trying for placement in storylines -- I'll run 3x each while I'm hanging out at night, but I don't normally take time on it during the day. But I'm doing casual play for now.

So... yah, don't kick me out of the Alliance anymore, please?

So second wave of ascended characters are out. 1* Black Widow and Hawkeye each get a third power. New boss event on Thursday (Ronan).

How's everyone feeling about the new stuff?

Decisions, decisions...

I want to champ 5* Goose. I currently have two 5*(ish) teams -- Thor/Ms Marvel/Polaris and Shang-Chi/Scarlet Witch/(Wong or America Chavez but I'm still experimenting). I want a third and I think Goose is a good candidate with BRB and a character to be determined, maybe Kitty.

I'm just deciding whether to make the run through the "Kitties and Cats" store, or hold out until Goose is available through LL. (Or decide I'm being silly.)

Relevant data:
- I currently have Goose with one cover and 350 shards.
- I have not rostered 5* Captain Marvel, but have 400 shards.
- 5* Ms Marvel is currently champed and Level 451.
- As noted, I use 5* Ms Marvel a lot, so leveling her would not be a waste.
- My highest level characters are currently 456, 455, and 454.
- I have 5* Miles Morales and Peggy Carter rostered. I have no inclination to pursue Miles, and we'll see if Peggy gets an improvement since the Devs said she is not living up to expectations.
- I have 11059 CP and 262 LL tokens.

So my options are...
- Go for KC Store and hope 5* Captain Marvel is better than the next two 5*
- Wait for LL until Miles and maybe Peggy rotate out.
- Decide Goose isn't actually worth it.

It depends on how hard you want to be in a state of keeping up with the new 5*s. And, it's a spectrum, since clearly Miles and Peggy aren't lighting your fire.

I would probably suggest you do about 100 pulls at the Goose/Marvels store. Whatever odds you get are the same there or the LT store, but you can boost your Ms Marvel.

How much would I leave for the LT store? That's the spectrum. If it were me, wanting to stay in a good place with champing 5*s, I'd keep at least 400 pulls for the LT store. Then ratchet that number down based on your feelings about being able to be current with the new hotness.

Is there going to be a "Heroic" Galactus event, or just the normal one?

They haven't announced. I will GUESS that there will not be, because to do so would mean a coding task and the impression I get is that they are running their resources to the max.

Happy to be wrong, and maybe it's Galactus because they went back to the first event to catch it up to the standard/heroic modes of alliance events. Guess we find out Thursday.
