So my venue's shutting down on the 19th of this month. Found out about this yesterday. Pretty bummed about that. I'd been judging there for about four years now. The owners are good folks so it's sad to see them have to close down their physical location.

Thankfully, I was able to get something lined up pretty quickly at another shop. Still need to pin down some details, though, but I think things will be fine -- and maybe even better -- at the new venue. Strangely enough, one of the folks at the new shop was one of the owners of the venue where I originally started playing.

That is bad and good news.
