Besides, home team already is chocked full of advantage.

Here's my suggestion, assuming a regular season of 8 games:

After the draft is done, everyone chooses 4 different maps and 4 different BFCs. These choices are public and listed on the team rosters. Also, the map and BFC choices should be made before the regular season schedule is determined.

For each game, if you're home team, you choose a map, and if you're away team, you pick a BFC. Map and BFC choices are sent in with teams, i.e., before you see your opponent's team. Each map and BFC can be played only once by a player during the regular season.

For the playoffs, those who qualify also make a new set of map and BFC choices. The Championship game's map is randomly determined with no BFC.

TVK and Doombot show up at the same time?!? Wow, just waiting for both bauers brothers and Melk now...

I am 90% not in for next season. Just can't see myself having the brain space to commit for a year.

The "Tackle Box" idea is basically just adding maps and BFCs to the draft. Everyone gets a set for free (handled at the same time as Core drafts), Maps would be unique but BFCs not. You could draft extras at an RP price point (idk, 50?) to a limit (maybe 4?).

That would be my proposal.
