Good morning. I lost my computer for most of the weekend - dead ethernet card.
So, has enough time elapsed to ask a whinny rules lawyer biatch question? (Actually, I should think Roland would be proud that Team Vegas members are dissecting the rules) I'm not trying to get the edge on anyone - simply trying to level the playing field. BTW, is anyone going to be able to get this info to Jack?
The Surge card states that "the assigned character cannot have HSS, RS and/or Charge printed anywhere on its combat dial." The post also states that you cannot USE L/C or Phasing, but makes no mention of whether it can be on your dial.
Question: Can L/C and/or phasing be printed on your dial as long as you don't USE it?

Being a Batman fan, I like the picture you put on the base of the card, but I don't know how you related it to the sopic of "Surge". Usually the pictures show a character, or characters, in a comic scene that depicts the action being performed.

Yes.

Time restraints forced me to use what I could find easily. If you have an idea for a compatable pic please let me know.
The card is set up in layers, so it is easy to use as a template if anyone is interested....
cool card, you have a lot of awsome mods I never saw before.
I alos like that feat with shadow cat on it, they should actually make something liek that.
as for the questions I would rather ask now rather then show up only to find out "oh you cant surge and CCE" or "to bad your team of RCEers can surege and use it"
so I dont see what the big deal about all the questions is.
And like I said before this all a result of someones training hmmm who was that again ???
EDIT: congrat on makeing it to lvl 2 and also puting the special rule on a feat was a great idea
I don't want to play a game of chess where dumb luck or money decides whether or not I get to use a rook... Collectibility is a necessary evil of Heroclix, not a boon.
Major Eclips (David) came back from his 2-week Reserve Duty and had some interesting news. One of his sergeants has a store on State Street, which is on the "back side" of where John's place was located at the Commercial Center. This guy is apparently interested in becoming a venue for Clix and I've been told he has room for tables. The place is called The Sci Fi Center. Roland, since it is around the corner from you, do you know anything about the place? David said he has been in business for 15 years. Derrick is a nice guy and has been most accommodating, but most of the crew seemed better able to make it to Commercial Center on Thursday nights.
Also, I may have a new player in development. He was once interested in playing (and his wife, so may have to clean up language - not a bad idea generally regardless), but could not find anyone else that wanted to play. He saw the JSA map in my office and is now searching for a starter set.

No, you cannot use Phasing, Leap/Climb, or Serpent Society TA with this Feat. Precident is set with errata to Pounce and not being able to use Leap/Climb with it.
Please take a few moments to digest, chew well, then ask questions....
Hope this makes things a little easier.
-thanks for the assist Lucky.
P.S. What do you guys think of the card design?
Nice card Jeffy!!!
Yeah I like the wording. By the way, the team I created at 9AM Friday morning had NO MOVEMENT POWERS! Probabally gonna stick with that.

Never heard of the place. Which is weird because I pretty much know, and have been too, every place in town. Even ones that have been closed for awhile.
The phone book has a Sci Fi Center listed at:
4133 W. Charleston Blvd, LV 89102
207-2434
That is roughly Decatur & Chalreston area.

That picture is a Jim Lee cover to one of the Batman Comics from the Hush storyarc. Just need to show how much of a geek I am every once in a while.

May have been once. He has a website TheSciFiCenter.com and there is a map link showing his location -definitely at Commercial Center area.

Every once in a while? I recognized it too, but STILL have no idea why it relates to SURGE. I'm still trying to come up with a better pic Jeff.

That's what I thought that was! It's up the street from Vickiy's work! Every time I wanted to go in there he was closed!
