I have always wanted to do just this: A fiend burner, starring lava golem of course, but what other fiends are burners?

Waldo, I've just been hit with the idea for one of the most powerful decks out there...this'll bring back my old NecroChaos, but with an entirely new twist....

Just think about it...the Creater is a light, and so are the Avatars...with Painful Choice, NA, etc...I think you can see where this is going...

Most definitely, DMU. Dark Necrofear + Chaos = Deadly. I, myself, will run Dimension Fusion and Soul Demolition MUCH more often now. To either remove The Creator and revive him from the RFP pile, or to revive other monsters to tribute for him.

However, until CED-EotB is UN-banned, Chaos Decks will be no threat to us and I won't take them serious until then.

MY biggest concern with the Creator, are decks that already have lots of revival cards, like Gravekeepers and Zombies.

There's no doubt in my mind that Fiend decks will have the best use for the Creator, either discarding fiends to the graveyard, or recycling Night Assailants for infinite summoning. Forced Requisition might actually be WORTH the trouble of activating now. Card of Safe Return will be great as you'll discard and Night Assailant, get a Night Assailant back to your hand, Special Summon your seected monster, and draw a card.


Lava Golem (FIRE/Fiend/8/3000/2500) of course. But before you stop him dead in his tracks with Gravity Bind, make sure you let him attack your face-down Kisetai (DARK/Fiend/2/300/800).

But there's also the FASTEST fiend burner, Giant Germ. Great defensive monster for Gravity Bind decks.

Since you'll be runnning Gravity Bind to stop those Golems, you might also wanna run Creature Swap and give them Shadowknight Archfiend (DARK/Fiend/4/2000/1600) with a Nightmare Wheel or Mask of the Accursed attached to him (Oh! We're so evil!!!).

The Coffin Seller is also fiend oriented and inflicts 300 points of damage fdor every monster your opponent sends to the graveyard, in ANY way. Either from the field, the hand, the deck or RFP pile.

Since youll be runnning Giant Germ and other swarmers, a Destruction Ring or 2 won't hurt you too much.


The rest is just common burn stuff:

Poison of the Old Man, Secret Barrel, Mass Driver, Ceasefire, Just Deserts, Black Pendant, etc.

I've been messing around with a Chaos/Creator deck for a while now, and it really does work well with Night Assailent, however the problem I find with it is two-fold:
First, getting the Avatar out isn't easy, since he's unsearchable in Advanced format (barring Reinforcement/Freed, of course), and the second problem is that the Creator has to be in your hand to get Avatar's effect. The advantage I had was Kaiser Seahorse, which made it possible to run multiple Creators more easily.
I'll maybe start work on a Necro/Creator deck and see how it works out, but I'm still a bit dubious about the Creator.

Creature swap-

This card is one of my (new) favourite cards, it works so well in a fiend deck aswell. Flip Giant germ into face up attack , take their monster then summon, hit them for 500 (from the germs effect), the attack of your opp's card and the 2 giant germs you get out. Newdoria ain't to bad with it either.

Yes, the Creator is considered a good monster. I personally like it, so I may run one. The Night Assailant combo was easily coming. You know, if Dark Ruler Ha Des could be special summoned, the fiends would truly be invincible! Well, sorry if I can't review this card completely, but class is about to start again. Gotta get good grades (Good Grades = More Packs). Cya around ^_^

So we see all the potential and mayhem we will be able to do with Fiends and the Creator, do you think it will be immediately limited, or will the double tribute aspect of the Creator make it a standard 3 per deck?

I'll tell ya one thing...Skull Knight #3, Sould Exchange, Change of Heart will all make the Avatar far more paltable and see three of those beasts on the field could be just as awe inspiring as seeing the Gate Guardian emerge onto the field. (Gather 'round the fire sometime children and I'll tell you the legend of the awe inspiring Gate Guardian... 8^D)

Kaiser Sea Horse will also help get the Creator out faster. 8^D

Also its a special summon, which means you never actually have to have the avatar of the creator on the field for very long.

Yep, quite a card. With this card, Mefist will never die! I thought of a good combo with this: Ultimate Obedient Fiend + Ectoplasmer + The Creator. All you do is continuously tribute Ultimate Obedient Fiend for Ecto, while bringing the UOF back with Creator's effect. Quite a fiendish combo ^_^
BTW, what is the expected rarity of the Creator? I hope it is a super rare, since if it was common, everyone would have one; but if ultra/secret rare, then I won't see myself playing it. Hope one of you can answer this for me ^_^

Sorry, ninja-. From all my notes and checks on the matter, the Creator will be Ultra/Ultimate Rare

That's from Edo's page. I'd say we can expect the same rarity here, but who knows? Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll only be a Super Rare... I certainly hope so :)

Anyway, I finished my concept Necro/Creator deck, themed it all on revival, it can be viewed in the Deck Depot as 'First Concept Deck for RDS' for anyone who's interested. Once I set up YVD for RDS, I'll post here and let y'all now how the deck works out :)

EDIT: Oh, by the way, check this card out, I found it while I was browsing Edo's RDS card list, seemed to me like the perfect card to use in conjunction with the Creator, but it has oodles of potential in any Fiend deck with Night Assailant:

I'm glad we are finally getting a good thunder monster.at last rds will allow me to make 2 of my elemental decks fire and thunder (well not quite).

Now THAT ladies and gentlemen, is Fiendish.

Hmmm....I think Creator will be Limited. At the very least, Semi-Limited.

If not, well then....it's up to us to show them why it SHOULD be.
