Huntress can't share Psylocke's space with her? She won't take up much room.

Since this game is about up do you want to play the Avengers/Injustice League or one of the other ideas? I was drooling over the 1000 point game I see going on. Especially with the fact that you are writing a story (really makes a difference to me, I don't always have something to write but it definitely makes it more fun). I was stunned to see you chose the Injustice League in that game. Quel surprise. A shocker, really.

Yeah, I know. Me play the Injustice League. Who'da thought? If I knew you were interested, I'd have invited you over, but after the disappointment that last 4-way game that I get you into turned out to be, I wasn't sure if you'd be that keen on it.

We could certainly do a big-point game like that if you want to. I'd like to at least finish this round first, so maybe start the Avengers/IL game and then when we finish the Ultimates/Legion game (I'm assuming it'll be fast) we can do something like that between rounds.

I want to do a big point game, maybe after the My Teams Better Than Your Team finishes up. Yeah, I was tempted to join up but I really wanted to be Avengers and that was stealing the other guys thunder (though all of the teams are intriguing). I'll watch your game intently. Yes, that last 4 way game was a disaster and I kinda figured it might be when I joined in. Your move btw...

"Me neither. I've heard of the boxing glove arrow, but I never thought I'd actually see one used, but that's just what Green Arrow's done."

"Effective, though," Nightcrawler observed. "Aerodynamically questionable, but looks like it packs quite a wallop."

"That's for sure, elf," Kitty agreed. "Huntress does look rather stunned. But Magik's not going in for the kill. Instead she disappears and reappears right in front of Phoenix!"

"Smart girl," Wolverine commented.

"Da," Colossus admitted proudly.

"Phoenix is definitely the Green Team's biggest threat now, and she's taking her on one on one to keep her from Psylocke long enough for time to run out - or so she hopes. With just a few seconds to go, the Green Team's got just about enough time for one last move. Let's see if they can do it!"

Another option for a between round game (if you think we need one - the rounds are getting so short these days) is to do the Silver Age game you brought up a while ago - rookies of Batman, Robin, Superman, etc against the early Avengers. That one kind of got away from you, but I was really intrigued by the idea.

Oh yes rookie era heroes, that works too. My fedeling is to do that or use the characters from some storyline (Kree/Skrull War idea).

Round 12

Well my chances of winning just went down considerably. Firestorm and Quicksilver can't move and you've blocked Phoenix attack. Sooooo...my 1 chance to win will go like this:

Atom perplexes his damage and attac ks Psylocke. Needs 5, rolls 8. 2 to Psylocke.

Huntress attacks Psylocke. Needs 7, rolls 7. Wow!!! Psylocke is down.

Phoenix flies into space M12.

Really wanted Atom there but I do what I can.

Nightcrawler grabs the speaker with his prehensile tail, "The Atom went into Psylocke's inner ear and let out a scream, Mien Gott, talk about hearing voices!"

Wolverine adds, "Yeah but that's all that was needed for Huntress to take Psylocke down and Phoenix ta swoop in."

"A last minute come back, who'd thought? Think the green team can hold or will the reds take it back, Colossus?" Kitty asks.

"That remains to be seen," says Colossus noncommittally. He shares a drawing he made of the red and green teams atop the hill. With red team member arms over green teams heads and vice versa, it is a piece of comedy that has all of the commentators in stitches.

Well, I've got one chance, and it's a long one. Magik will attack Phoenix. AV7 to hit DV14 +2 for ESD, needs a 9. Gets a 6 and that's game. Neither Gambit nor Green Arrow can get to Phoenix.

"Magik is summoning a magical bolt to try to take down Phoenix - only seconds left - this may be the Red Team's last chance - and Rachel uses the Phoenix force to create a fiery telekinetic shield. Magik's bolt is blocked and there the buzzer. Green team wins it! Wow what a game!"

Let's get started on the next agme in the round. I'll put together my IL team. It may take me a while. I'm undecided whom to use, and I've got a couple of busy days coming up, but hopefully by the weekend we can get going.
