"Okay, you have to be quick to take down someone as small as the Wasp, and fortunately, not too many are as quick as the Beast!" He bounded over to where the Wasp was hovering and clapping his hands together, caught her between them.

"I was going to ask if you needed a 'hand', Hank," the Scarlet Witch said, "but I see your hands were quite sufficient." She cast a hex that made the Wasp lose her sense of direction. Instead of flying away from the Beast, she flew straight into the ground, knocking herself unconscious.

"Oh, Wanda," the Beast groaned, "that was dreadful."

"You're just jealous that you didn't think of it first."

"Well, yeah," the Beast admitted.

Giant-Man attacks Wonder Man. Needs 5, gets 10. Scarlet Witch reroll is 7. 2 to Wonder Man after invulnerability.

Iron Man attacks Quicksilver. Needs 5, rolls 5. Pietro is gone.

Thor will attack Ms. Marvel. Giant-Man perplexes his damage to 4. Needs 6, rolls 8. 2 after invulnerability to Ms. M.

Cap uses Avengers free move to attack Beast. Needs 11, rolls 7.

"Janet!" cries out Giant-Man.

"Relax, fella," Wonder Man says in battle, "We wouldn't hurt her."

"Too bad I can't say the say to you."

Normally Giant-Man is not in Wonder Man's arena strength-wise but his anger over Wasp's knockout gives him fury. Wonder Man knows he has to fight harder but his fear of death, having just come back from it, makes him hesitant.

"Varlets!" Thor says to Beast, "Downing a defenseless female!". Mjolnir is sen of its way towards him.

"Defenseless? Goldilocks obviously you don't know the Wasp too well yet!" he evades the hammer easily. "What's the matter Thor? New to this Uru hammer thing?"

Beast hears a thud to his right. Ms. Marvel was hit by the brunt of the Thunder God's hammer.

"Thou wert saying, hirsute one?"

Iron Man blasts a hole in the ground and Quicksilver, too dazed from the earlier attack, falls in it.

Iron Man lifts him up, "OK speedster, time to give up. Look to you, too weak to walk let alone run."

"Perhaps but I'll not give up, Iron Man. I'm an Avenger and you taught me well..."

Pietro passes out in his arms. "Taught you..." Iron Man says then looks up to Cap. Now, he gets it.

Ms. Marvel will attack Thor with RCE. AV8 on DV16, needs an 8. Gets a 5. Wanda makes her reroll, gets a 5 again.

Beast will Perplex up his damage to 4 and Charge to K17, attacking Giant Man. AV9 against DV16, needs a 7. Gets a 6.

Black Widow tries to Incapacitate Giant Man, AV8 against 16+1 needing a 9. Gets an 8

Wonder Man tries to Breakaway. Gets a 2. At least I'm consistant

"Sorry, Giant Man," the Beast explains, "but shrinking isn't going to help you against me anymore than it did the Wasp. When you gots feets big as mine, it's harder NOT to hit something!" Seeing the great blue foot descending upon him, Hank Pym tried to grow back up before he was squished completely. He wasn't quite fast enough and took the brunt of the kick before he returned to normal size.

"Normally, we're allies Captain, but for now, I regret having to do this," Scarlet Witch apologized. With another mutant hex, a water main burst beneath Captain America's feet. The force of the water jet knocked him off his feet, and Black Widow rushed up to engage him.

Meanwhile, Ms. Marvel fired off another shot, at Thor this time. The thunder god took the blast. "Ho, a worthy shot. Verily, I felt that. But I am Thor, and it shall take more than a ray gun to fell me!"

Giant-Man rolls to attack Beast. Needs 7, rolls 6.

Thor attacks with ho Beast. Needs 7, rolls 7. 2 to Beast after toughness but it's all I need.

Iron Man moves to M12 using running shot. Attacks Black Widow. Needs 8, rolls 4.

Cap moves to I13.

"What a quick turn of events," Captain America thinks to himself, "The sheer numbers of the other Avengers are overwhelming us."

Cap watches as Giant-Man, Iron Man and Thor fight a round with limited success. Only the sturdy iron will of Thor manages to meet it's target.

"I'm fairly weak but I think I can outmaneuver Wanda. They are overrelying on the Scarlet Witch."

Scarlet Witch begins casting a spell when Cap lowers his shield between her hands.

"Sorry, Wanda. I've no choice here."

"Neither do I, Steve," she replies and raises her crimson gloves again.

Couple of things.

1. The range for throwing a HO is always 4 regardless of the figure's range. So Thor could only use a normal ranged attack on Beast, for 1 point after Toughness instead of 2.

2. My fault as I didn't change Black Widow's position in my turn summary. She's in H17 now instead of F17, so a. Captain America would need to breakaway from her to move to I13, and b. Iron wouldn't have line of fire to her, unless you want to move Cap first, in which case if he makes his breakaway roll, then Iron Man can fire at her just fine.

OK slight changes then. No move for Iron Man. Cap attacks Widow. Needs 10, rolls 9. So darn close...

Beast Attempts breakaway from Giant Man, gets a 6, moves to R19.

Wonder Man on Giant Man. AV7 on DV15, needs an 8. Ooh, gets the 8. Giant Man takes 1 more after Toughness.

OK it looks like Beast is free to go.

"Black Widow, you're as good as ever," Cap says trying to take her down.

"As are you, Captain," she replies twarting his punch.

"Cap! Beast is heading for that portal you mentioned," Iron Man yells.

Captain America turns in time to see his rival march into the final portal.
