I'm thinking of trying something a little off-beat, I may test it out at another tournament first to see how it goes. The specifics are a little vague, as I don't have BattlePlanner on this PC and I'm too lazy to look up the units.

GL can zip around firing off his mega-enhanced running shots, and if he gets in trouble, Mandroid can TK him back to the medic. In the mean time, Cosmic Boy can carry the Kobra Fanatics to a flanking position using the GL team ability, and fire them off as needed. Abbey would be nice for outwit and the hail mary team ability, but I can live without.

Kobra Fanatics have Battle Fury: can't be carried.

Umen are only legal after the 9th (Don't know when your tournament is).

How are the BFCs going to work in tournaments after the 9th? I remember something about bringing the same amount of cards as rounds in the tournament and using a different one each round? That could be difficult- I know some pre-releases had 7 rounds. What's the scoop?

Just got back from the Orlando Premire event, out of 20 players 5-6 used Thor........none of them even got to the top 4, 4 players used Amazo, 3 of them made it to the top 4, 2 in the finals including me.....

Won myself Magneto, looks great.......

Thanks goes to radierhero, who i beat to win, but just barelly and due to Jane Foster criticaly missing 3 times trying to heal his Amazo, and then his Amazo rolling double 1's twice, once on a R Con artist and once on E Jean Grey on her last click....

Whoa... some are 400 points? I thought they were supposed to be 300...

I lost mine to my Archenemy VandalSavage. Used the Thor team I posted on this thread, and he used Triple TK/perplex bombs.


I DID have a good time though. I beat a guy who was a royal prick in the first round, and lost to a great player for the championship. I'd rather not play cheese bs like I saw/played today, but it WAS a fun event.

WK has not set any specific build total for these events. Whoever is coordinating the event, perhaps with the judges' help is determining that.

So I wonder if this means that my premier event I will be attending will be sealed booster, since it says that it will be the same as the Pre-release tournament...

The format is Constructed. It's the build total that appears to be up to the event coordinators and/or judges.

Yeah, just figured that out. I REALLY need to find out build total, since I will driving four hours and will not be able to just "build a team" in a handful of minutes.

You should be able to contact whoever is putting on the tourney, and ask them. Just find your tourney on the Premier tourney link at the top of the HCRealms homepage..good luck.

I was under the impression Wizkids DID set the point total, and that is was 300... Can't find it now... I'll call the people next week. Thanks.
