This set is turning out to be Craptastic Forces.

The least they could have done was make the Namor Le Aqautic symboled with leadership for the PRINCE OF ATLANTIS!!!!!


Its going to take something big (Like a certain cigar smoking duck) to get me to really like this set. So far the only peice they got right was the LE Juggs.

I really like Big Juggs with the charge and stuff but other then that theres not much worth it. Mirage is nothing compared to Dagger, and Scarlet Witch is nice being a 10 range rookie free move and the ultimates help in the vet but I feel they should have either done the current Avengers Scarlet Witch or even the Xmen Evolution Scarlet Witch..ie The Hot one.

I also expected them to make her more then just a 1 trick pony...again. No Psychic blast, shape change, super senses, incap, mind control, pulse wave? This girl single handedly made me stop reading the Avengers (ok she had a lot of help from Bendis) but all they give her is PC!?!?!!??

Well, I'm still serious about that, but I just thought of something: Black Knight more recently rode a black horse that had bat-wings instead of the traditional Pegasus-looking winged steed. In fact, according to Marvel chronology (non-Ultimate, for all you kids out there) Valkyrie ended up using Black Knight's horse and he eventually got the black horse with bat-wings.

SOOOOO, there may still be hope for a Black Knight figure on a totally different horse-sculpt. Maybe. We will see. Ok, it's been fun talking to myself, I'll let you guys go back to fighting it out over Scarlet Witch......

A bullet cant harm harm Namor correct. Just like Scorpion, who I would say has more protection then Namor. Who also has only Toughness. One kliq of it is what I gave him in Character Creation. Only after some people asked for more of it.

Cigar smoking duck would ruin any set. Have to say pretty much the opposite of what you said. Juggs is so far just average.

I couldn't remember. I wanted to say she never wore that... but I only dimly remember her in the Ultimate X-Books. Ultimate X really annoyed me at first - they were in such a stupid hurry to cram through every story that there was little characterization at all. It's a brand new universe, fools, you do NOT start your first issue with GIANT KILLER DEATH ROBOTS SWARMING NEW YORK. You BUILD to that. Ugh. But maybe I'll try to dig up those early issues and remember... although I don't know what the big moon-thing is.

Moonstar, hope somebody's happy, as it's a big case-hog I won't ever play, but I never begrudge anyone their favorite lower-stringers, since I'm so hyped on trying to get a Bi-Beast.

Here's hoping for an Avengers- themed next set, too.

Who decided where to put that peg...

Well, I really do like the character in question, but the problem is that Rookie Moostar DEFINITELY doesn't have the horse, or the Psychic Blast, and the Vet doesn't have the Horse either. It's like they made three different versions out of 1/5th of her total career, and ignored the other 4/5ths. In fact, she NEVER had a psychic-blast-esc effect while she had the horse.

The psychic arrows came AFTER she gave up the horse. Originally she had an effect that could only be along the lines of Incap or MC (her illlusions dealt no damage at all), then she gained the ability to manifest real things, which would probably be along the lines of BCF (she used a spear a lot here), and the use of the pegasus, and THEN, after losing the pegasus she gained the psychic arrows.

It really is a horrible representation of the character, more a "What can we cram onto a double base figure?" rather than "What can we do with Dani Moonstar?"

Ok, let me get this straight. You're complaining that the figure isn't dressed right, and actually has *better* stats/abilities?!?!?! For once, you get good stats on a Marvel figure and that's a bad thing? Hell's bells people, this is silly! So what if the costume is "wrong" on Scarlet Witch? She's had about a dozen different versions of the costume anyways!!!! Ok, they screw up Captain America or Spiderman, I can see a beef; they're costumes haven't changed all that much. Cap is had only 3 real versions (original shield, rounded shield, Ultimate) and then as "The Captain." Spidey has had the red/blue and then the black costume with VERY little differences. Wanda is/was/will be a clothes horse!

Because X-men sell. Fantastic Four doesn't sell as hot as X-men. Hence, the FF play second fiddle to their mutant friends.

He's pissed because the dials are for the ULTIMATE Scarlet Witch, but the fig looks to be the 616 Scarlet Witch. Although word is she may have worn something like that in her initial appearances that nobody remembers because Ultimate X-Men was cluttered and sucky at first.

Just when you hear something bad about Wizkids you get some good news about their product.

So its safe to say that I see a future "Activation Click" column on converting a Scarlet Witch to match her costume from the "sucky" era of the Ultimate line?

There's also the fact that she was never actually one of the Ultimate X-Men but they gave her that TA anyway. I think even SHIELD may have been more appropriate. But a lot of people like the Ultimate X-Men. I've gotten every issue - they're just inconsistent, and started out with "OMG WE SO EDGY."

Ultimate Wanda and Pietro are a little weird anyway. I fear they may go along the lines of "The Dreamers." You won't know what I'm talking about though, because you don't watch French movies. ;D

I am fairly new to the game, and also the realms but i have noticed a very annoying trend. WHINING! Whining about everything! I have never seen a more negative lot bunch in my entire life. I got into clix because why? I am a comic book geek, i have been since i was a kid. I love all the figs because the represent a character that i grew up reading or currently read about. I don't care that they don't have certain powers on their dial ("such and such a character can't have that power because in issue 231 it clearly states that they lost that power"give me a break), use some imagination while playing ,you would be surprised how much fun that can add to a game. Now i don't want to offend anyone, and everyone is obviously entitled to their own opinion, (which is why i started coming here to read the posts) and this is not directed towards everybody but it just seems that there are some with nothing good to say ever! So for all you people who hate the game and the fig's so much you should all get together and put all the money you would be spending on hc and start your own company (Wizkids Deux) then you could make your own figs and give them the "right powers"...or get together and start a chess club.
PS: I am not a wizkids lover, i just like the figs and game..they just so happen to be the company that makes them

Oops!

It looks like it has been the Ultimate Scarlet Witch all along. From her early Brotherhood period (I just looked it up). The rings on her boots and the extension of her tiara down to her cheeks give it away. I apologize for my earlier comment, and only wish that the Ultimates version was wearing her Ultimates uniform and not still in her Brotherhood one. :disappoin
