I have a question about the ClixBrick. Sorry if it's been asked.
My venue purchased two cases of Fantastic Forces. They got 96 loose boosters. No case box or insert posters, just boosters. Will Wizkids have a way to make sure that the distributors don't just divide up the Bricks to sell? I've heard stories of venues wanting several cases of product, but only getting a handful of loose boosters. Also, is there a way for a person to buy 12 boosters(not necessarily the ClixBrick itself) and still get a chance to get the special figure?
And, I want to say KUDOS Wizkids!! KUDOS!! The fact that they have actually listened to some of us dingleberries to the point to agreeing that Heroclix should be more themed and scenario driven is really awesome on their part. Thanks again.

agreed 5000%
also, i to know how bastardley comic shops can be, i quit going to my regular one after 5 years (for reasons i'll keep to my self) but i was lucky enough to find a new one that just opened, and i became friends with the guy who runs it, so i have a safe place to purchase now, so i'll support them over the other place as much as possible

Well since it appears that every 12 booster will be shrink wrapped as a brick. I think a brick is the smallest amount that would be sent. If a store was to only get half a case, he would be sent 2 bricks. Since they are packaged like that in China, they probably will not be broken down any further. I think quarter cases will be the lowest common denominator for shipment.
This is all great, except for 3 set a year (I want more) but of course there could be more or cool starter like theme sets.
It means I buy 3 bricks and at least 1 brick from my gameing store, not a problem.
The person most effected for me and probably some others is my wife. I will have to drag her to new guy night every 6 months. All my friends either play or think I'm silly for playing, so I'm left with the wife.
I love the idea of 1 in 3 boosters having a Unique. Players shouldn't have to hunt all over creation to complete their collections. I don't care about the "value" of a figure. I just want it. It's just a piece of plastic, and shouldn't cost $75 on ebay. Why should I care if it hurts secondary retailers? These are the same companies that charge $5 to ship a figure with First Class Mail through the USPS despite the fact that it only costs them $0.85. I don't play my Unique Nightcrawler because he's worth a fortune. I play him because he's awesome.
Yay! I love quoting Wyldstaar!
In a perfect world, no fig is worth more than $5. The sharks and cherrypickers leave the game (we all have someone in mind!), and everyone gets what they want. I sell singles at my venue, and I'm still happy about the news. I want people to focus more on the fig they're playing, and less on the color of the ring on the dial. I hate seeing people open boosters and say "this pack sucked, I didn't get anything" because there wasn't a blue plastic tray in it.
Armor Wars... sweet! I was just thinking how I need a new Iron Man for a West Coast Avengers theme team...
This "on paper" looks all good for game play only. Support your local venue is to make the venue order more, so Wizkids will make more $$$ off of them. The bricks are to make us buy them from the local guy so we can get the LE, so the local guy buys more from Wizkids, so Wizkids makes more $$$, one Unique in 3 boxes(4 Uniques per brick) is to make us not feel like we got our moneys worth for spending much more then we would have if we bought from an on line store.
We will end up spending almost as much money to get our sets because of buying at retail, we'll just have a lot less doubles. The guy who came up with this earned his pay, Wizkids can't lose out on this. The down side is some of us like to trade rare stuff, and one Unique in 3 boxes will kill this. Money can still be saved by buying from a case from an online store and picking up the LE on E-Bay, it will be out there and cheaper then buying retail and sending away for the LE. Most of us support our local venue by buying not just clix but many other items they carry.
Clix do get extra support every month with sealed/draft events. Roughly the same amount of money will be passing out of our pockets, just going on to Wizkids in a different way. "Hey make 'em bring a friend to buy more of our stuff and toss them a different piece of plastic as a reward for getting someone new to give us $$$$"
I thank you Wizkids for the new and improved gameplay aspects.
I can't blame any business for making more money, but I don't like almost being forced to buy "your way" it's not fair to us. It would have been better to let us send proof of purchase for "12 boxes" no matter how many we bought each time to add up to the 12 needed. The better mix is a grand idea(god knows I needed 10 yellow jackets and 1 yellow moonstar in my last case) But one Unique in every three boxes makes them not so......."unique". New maps...great!!! 36x24??, I'll wait for the set-ups before I judge this.
Most of this sounds good but there are many lines to read between, wait and see like everything else.

i gotta agree as well, screw secondary retailers, and im a poor SOB so i purchase whatever i can in boosters, which often results in No Good uniques for me, so more uniques for my broke ### is awesome, i dont care who it hurt's (including kittens )
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.
CCGs are easier to collect, I tell myself. Then they make it easier to get sets and uniques are now one in every three packs.
Best Clix news in a looong time IMO. Easier to get uniques makes me want to collect again. Making uniques one in three packs means each individual unique is still a collector's item, but not worth a lot of money. I could care less, because I care more about having cool figs than having figs that are worth money.
Sorry, that's not nearly good enough to get me re-interested in this game. They still haven't changed the rules... that's what made me quit in the first place.
So you quit but you're still happy to come back and complain?
Good to hear about the redistribution of REVs and U's. (I literally have BOXES of old REVs) . Glad to see a move by WK toward thematic play. REV Warzone!! woot!
I am sorry to hear about the size of map change though.
And there will still be a market (ebay) and trading for U's. I mean people still buy and trade them here on the boards, but their 'value' will take a major hit.
Chuck Norris is the only person who can simultaneously hold and fire FIVE Uzis: One in each hand, one in each foot, and the 5th one he roundhouse-kicks into the air, so that it sprays bullets.
I love this Wizkids, love it. Ebay be damned, if you love playing with different characters and love the game then I don't see how this is bad news.....
How can you complain that they are harder to collect now ? Didn't I read about a gazillion threads on how their Fantastic Forces cases had horrible collation?
I didn't read too much about this "brick" thing. I know that the store I get cases from always discounts, so it's win-win. All I hear about is how people get boned by the online dealers, so I still don't know why the complaints are in.
Maps are very cool, especially themed ones (Stark Enterprises!!!), but small maps aren't fun at all.
People, you now have a chance to get a unique in one in three boosters. I fail to see how that hurts anyone......
Luke B. back in the swing of things with this news (and to think, Fantastic Forces is the last set where the Uniques are truly rare. You Ebay sellers, including myself, can bite IRON-MAN!)
Well said
