"What's the matter?" Volcana asked as the sheer heat radiating from her had an obvious effect on Mr. Fantastic. "Too hot for you? Well it's about to get hotter!" She lashed out at Reed with a blast of scalding lava. Reed's elastic body was invulnerable to many king\ds of damage, but heat could still affect him as anyone else.

"Hey, Medusa," Sandman jeered. "Ever been to the beach and gotten sand in your hair? Feels rotten, doesn't it?" He sandblasted her with blasts of silicon from his arms, but she quickly formed her hair into a whirling fan which blew it all harmlessly away.

"I've never had that problem," she said coyly.

Argh, I missed Volcana being right there. Big mistake and pretty much means I've sacrificed Reed.

Medusa pushes to incap Sandman and give a token to Rupert. Needs 6 and 8, rolls 11. Alright Medusa!. 1 click to Sand and 1 extra token on him, 1 on Mole Man.

Sue will push to break away. Rolls 4. Moves to Q17.

Weakened Reed calls over to Medusa, "Medusa, I think you have a clear shot." He then wobbles around a menacing Volcana, keeping her distracted while Sue slipsaway and Johnny tries to hit her with a flame ball. No luck.

Medusas' luck, however, continues, as she slams solidly into Sandman and pulls Mole Man out of hiding. "Come out, come out, wherever you are Mole Man," she chuckles.

Sadly Medusa can't attack Sandman. She'd a grounded figure based by another grounded figure (Mole Man) so she can only make a close combat attack against him.

Volcana deals 1 click Poison damage to Reed, KOing him, but healing everyone else 1 click (Not really what I wanted. Curse Sue for breaking away)

Everyone clears.

"Susan..." Mr Fantastic mutters as Volcana's fiery powers overwhelm him at last. Volcana watched him collapse then looked around, just in time to catch Susan Storm slipping away and returning to an invisible state.

"No!!!" she cursed, discarding Richard's limp form in a heap.

Too bad, Reed was kinda useful. 1st Susan, Johnny and Medusa get a click of healing each.

"I," he says in a proud voice, "am Firelord. Once a herald of Galactus himself" emphasizing the name Galactus like one might do with a celebrity you've met.

"Oh, THAT's who you are," Mole Man replies, non-plussed.

Oh, ick. This is gonna get ugly. And I just realized, Sue's at full power. She's got Force Field which will protect her from Volcana's poison.

If you think I can be intimidated by someone with living hair you're wrong. Dead wrong." He jabbed his staff into Medusa's stomach, jolting her with electricty in addition to the blow itself. "Hm, you're not dead yet? No matter. You will be soon enough."

That's right, then Sue wouldn't have the 1 click damage from Volcana before...forgot about that.

OK gotta run but I'll post this game:

Didn't get as much use as I'd hoped for out of Volcana. Funny thing is I didn't notice your Force Field feat. I also forgot that I had purchased Armor Piercing for Volcana, specifically so her Poison damage would get through. In the end I don't think it mattered. She only got 1 Poison click off to Invisible Woman before she broke away and that would have been healed when I KO'd Reed. And at least I did that 1 click to Firelord, one way or the other.

I'll have to counter Firelord with Blastaar. He'll Running Shot to F9 and attack Firelord. AV8 on DV17, needs 9. Gets 9. Sweet. 2 to Firelord.

"Is that the best you can do, bestial one?" Firelord asked.

"Oh no," Blastaar grinned. "I'm just getting started."

Wow, Firelord's already hurting. Glad I gave him Lazarus pit, I can never seen to keep him around too long.

Medusa will again roll to incap Mole Man. Again needs 10, rolls 5. And she's done, all FF heal 1.

Sue rolls to break away. Gets a 5. Moves to L10.

Sandman smashes inot her, "Let's put you outta yer misery, red. Gotta give 'er credit, she did 'er best", he says as she falls.

The Black Panther slinks onto the scene, "Indeed she has," he says to himself, "And I intend to follow her example."
